ClanBase opens ET:QW ladders

image: cbgoldlogont After successful ladder petitions and upcoming full release of ET:QW, ClanBase has decided to start two different ladders for demo. After game will be available in full version ladders will switch to full version.

First ladder will use standard 6v6 Stopwatch mode. Here is the quote from CB’s newspost. “In Stopwatch mode you will be able to use all vehicles but with popular restrictions. Rules for this ladder have been based on these from ClanBase ET:QW Beta Cup and these which are used in most popular ET:QW leagues. They’ve already been approved by the community and we think you will be happy to play with these regulations. With all these features we think that teams will enjoy playing many exciting games. 6v6 gives you many opportunities to finish objectives in different styles and of course you can use vehicles to help yourself. So grab your guns, take a seat and prepare to battle for first place in ET:QW 6v6 Stopwatch ladder. “

Second ladder will use will be for infantry only. “Infantry as name says is different than Stopwatch. It will be based only on individual aiming and tactical skills of team. No vehicles and deployables will be allowed during games. You can experience who is best aimer in your team and how it could help you to achieve final goal. So if you are relying only on your infantry and you don’t want to drive and destroy several vehicles on map, or you want a change from Stopwatch, you should definitely take part in this newborn ladder. “

image: clanbase_white We've received a lot mails about groups and league switches. We would really would like to apologize for not doing anything about this, due to Belgium NightRavers' unforeseen absence and my work at lan. To accommodate most clans with their requests and fix any mishabs as good as we can, we're forced to delay the first OpenCup matchweek. This means the first matchweek will start on Friday, 4th December and not 27th November as we previously planned. In this week we will try to check all requests and make some clan switches to improve the groups.

EuroCup Final Preview

image: idle

Belgium Maidrion Web Director of Estonia idle.ee page has just made wonderful coverage about upcoming final of most prestigious ClanBase cup - EuroCup. It consists match predictions by United Kingdom Angrykid, Sweden LoTiX, Germany pumu and many others. It also contains tale about all idle.ee players which will play in finals and full way trough EuroCup group stage and playoffs.

Here's some part of news:
QuoteIt's been a while since the team of Dignitas won the first ever EC back in 2004. Ever since then we saw Saevus, u96d and uQ-Gaming (Parodia) consecutively taking the throne. Many players have stepped up to glory to vanish in obscurity not long after. Yet a few names have always been around. Their former clans will certainly ring a bell with the average ET player. Seven of them are all bundled in one team, fighting under the idle.ee name.

Belgium Maidrion did really grat job out there and text is really worth reading. It can give you nice view about upcoming final which will take place on Tuesday 25th at 21:00 CET.

You can read it here at idle.ee page.
