The EMS Grandfinal of Season V is up next. It will happen at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7, Friday at 22 CET. The two teams who have proven worth to challenge each other in this great final are well prepared and eager to take home victory!
DH are the clear favourites of this final as they dominated the playoffs until now and only gave away a map versus TAG in round1. nOu way! on the other side had a very unfortunate start vs Guarana but fought their way back and deserve the grandfinal spot!
Supply, a very solid map, was chosen by DH and nOu will have a hard stand against their line of defense with star player Night. nOu way decided on Radar. This map always ensures a thrilling round!
nOu way! have to beat DH twice in order to safe the victory!

We are proud to present the signups of our upcoming leagues. Naming them the ESL Major Series VI featuring 750 € as prizemoney and the 1on1, 2on2, 3on3 and 5on5 Spring Leagues. As last season the 5on5 Spring League will be linked to the EMS Qualification system.
The top seeded 32 teams who sign up for the 5on5 Spring League will get the chance to proof worthy in the qualifier cups. Furthermore 4 teams will be directly invited to the EMS groupstage based upon teams' activity and skill.
Following columns such as KDL's "5on5 or 6on6 ?" or overdrive's "Care to debate" back in the days of 2006 this news is dedicated to the current 5on5 or 6on6 topic.
With the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 Crossfire reintroduced the 5on5 format which right now is the most played format by far. The LAN will take place next week and the question is what happens then?
A decision has to be made in order to counteract an unneccesary split of the competitive community. Who might dare to make this decision? Obviously the three major forces, to name them Crossfire, Clanbase and the ESL.
So this is the time to decide that we will continue with the 5on5 format. To support the change to 5on5, Clanbase and the ESL hereby announce to close their 6on6 ladders and fully concentrate on 5on5. Also the upcoming Spring Leagues, the EMS and the EC will run the 5on5 format.

After Clowns' column "How to make Bremen better." and the strong community support of the idea Dersaidin sent me a bit outdated mapsource of beta2 and I started my work.
The map has been played in all kinds of competition for years. That is the reason why there is not much change needed to improve it and adapt it for the new 5on5 format. Only few changes were made and are supposed to improve gameplay at the last two changes.
