On sunday we will see the winner bracket final. The winner will take a place in the final that will be played on CPC2! This game will be between The Last Resort and Impact Gaming. They faced eachother before in the first matchweek on sw goldrush and braundorf b4. Tlr won that game with a clear 4-0 victory. Its up to impact now. Can they show they improved in the last couple of weeks?

Both teams started in group C together with cZar and morrigu. The first game in that group was between Tlr and impact. Tlr took that game with 4-0 on sw goldrush and braundorf b4. After that Tlr did not drop a single round and had a clear 12/0 round scorein the group. Impact on the other hand had a start that could have gone better. Not winning a single game with 4-0 in the group stage but they did proceed to the playoff's as number 2 in group C.

Lets check the way both teams made
The Last Resort
The Last Resort so far are the only remaining team in ET Masters yet to even drop a round. They have played all their matches and won, so far in comprehensive style. Many wondered what effect adding mAus to their lineup as a replacement for M1lk would do to the team however his devastating aim and damage coupled with the quality teamplay that TLR show has prooven to be a winning combination. With victories against top seeds Impact and NETR you can see that their route has not been a simple one however they have cut through the opposition like a knife through butter. Tonight however sees the exit of allstar marv who is replaced for the tournament and for the forthcoming CPC2 by the polish hitman Doktor. What effect this will have on the team with another lineup change remains to be seen. Will they just continue to sweep through their opponents with a seamless integration like the one of mAus or will the loss of Marv proove more costly than they imagined.

Impact Gaming
Impact Gaming had a difficult start in the group. They were not able to win a single match with 4:0 in the group. With Mztik being replaced by m1lk they needed a bit of time it seemed to get their teamplay up. Will this be the moment we've all been waiting for? Will Impact Gaming be able to stop Tlr in this winning mood? Their route so far:

With close victories in the group against cZar and mQ and a lost against Tlr they had not the start they wished. With the 2nd place in their group they had to face vae and noone was sure what the outcome of this game would be after vae had showed some nice play before but they lost one of their key players Squall so it would be a game where everything could happen. A 4-0 vitory for Impact Gaming. After that zP was waiting this would be the first real test for them and they passed it with a 4-0 again. Will this be enough to take on a Tlr on fire?


Predictions
Adacore While impact gaming undoubtedly have the most highly rated roster of any team to ever grace the ET scene, I don't think they have what it takes to grab a win against a TLR side which has looked absolutely sublime since their latest roster changes. That said, it should be a close match and could go either way, but I see it going to a 4-0 victory for TLR.

Bartichello based on the fact they have been playing toghether for a longer time and impact still isn't back full force yet a 4-2 win for TLR

Frozz Eventhough Impact has trio from parodia, two ownage tulips and a finnish tiger, it's not gonna be enough to beat mr. aCoZz (the most underrated player ever) and his Russian friends.Match will certainly be close but I would go for TLR, 4-2.

Azz0r After the Impact line-up was announced they had a nice ego. It didn't work out good and they even got owned by their good baldy friend ronner. After that they decided to take m1lk in but still Impact didnt came further then a 4-2 or 0-4. So they started to prac serious and because of that m1lk and tekoa are never on the kreaturen ventrilo anymore! FFS! But because of that they will win with 4-0.

Tonight we will see who will take the bronze medal this EuroCup and who's going to challange idle in the grand final! Both teams vying for the place in the grand final got knocked out of the winners bracket by idle and both want revenge. To get that revenge they got to play each other first to decide who's going on to face the ultimate challange again. This game between two great teams that have both shown us what they're made of. Of course I'm talking about zeroPoint and aMenti. These two teams are set up for an epic battle to decide who reaches the finals. Can aMenti do what they did last season under the ND name and end in the top two again or is it zeroPoint that will claim the final spot?

zeroPoint is a team made after QuakeCon, where four of them played. Butchji, darky and potter finished second at that prestigous event with the crossfire allstar team behind idle, while gifty took the bronze medal with KiH. After QuakeCon rapture, known from his time in saevus, and hatred, known from team beta and riZe, were taken on to round off the roster and make the team complete. Together they took on the challenge of beating idle this season. They joined zeroPoint in the end of September and didn't change their line-up since. As a team they have yet to land a top three placing in 6v6 competition. This team has got a lot of experience with three EuroCup winners and two players that took bronze in previous EuroCup seasons. zeroPoint certainly have everything they need to get into the final.

Tonight its not only the final of the winners bracket of the EuroCup but there is a semi final too. This semi final is in the shadow of the game zeropoint vs idle . This game will decide who takes the 4th place this EuroCup and who is going to face the winners of the winners bracket match. This match will be played between Netrunners knocked out the winners bracket by zeropoint and aMenti that got knocked out of the winner bracket by idle.

Netrunners a stable team with some "old" and "new" school players. Gotti known from teams like TeamPoison, senseless-eSports and Team Poland. On the other hand they got Rio not that known before he joined Netrunners. Rio did win OpenCup division 3 with his previous clan uAznia and after that he joined Netrunners. That the team is stable is shown by the fact that they didn't had a lot of line-up changes. They got a team that did play and won the 5v5 lan in Poland and after that they did add Robol. Robol is a player that got some experience too. After playing with everto and polawka he joined Fear-Factory and now he made the step to Netrunners.

aMenti on the other hand is playing with a line-up full of players that did play EuroCup and/or NationCup before. They got some dangerous players with winghaven as one of the best soldiers and marv as a European Allstar. Their line-up got changed just a while ago. With Crozz going out and m1lk coming in there wont be so much delay anymore before finding a decent server. With m1lk new in the line-up they did beat cdap last week and they are ready to go for a top 3 place in the EuroCup again.

What does ClanBase got for us on monday? They got two great EuroCup games coming up. We are starting with noll8 vs sFx-Monkeys and later on there will be sFx-Murso vs Fear-Factory. This will be a great evening with two great games.

The first game will be between noll8 and sFx-Monkeys. The artists formerly known as Abnormal Monkeys (now sFx) are set to light up the EuroCup stage tonight with an all scandinavian battle against former RTCW legends noll8. Tonights match is the first of a brilliant ET double header and will see the return of half of the EuroCup winning Parodia side sat next to some of Finlands greatest talents.

The talk of the town has been all about the return of mystic and fans of the flying finn wont be disapointed as tonight. After not showing up he's back in all his glory tonight, but more there are far greater things at stake tonight. Tonight's game is one on paper sFx-Monkeys are favourites to win, but with this being their first look at competitive action and combined with the random element of Adlernest the match is a crucial test against a well practiced noll8 unit.

Group D may well be this years group of death meaning every win and every map win is crucial to the outcome of the season and with it both sides will be looking to inflict as much damage prior to matches against high flying Highbot(<<) and Team-Helix. Look to adlernest in round one of the matches this season to potentially being a pivitol moment in the entire season should the group be as close as expected.

What do you think about the game against a-monkeys?
A-Monkeys is a strong team with great players. But we are well prepared and i am confident that we can beat them. Well anyway i think it will be a great game to watch xD

Some of your players are playing in the NC too. Is this a problem for the team?
Well it happend a couple of times that we lost a "potential praccing hour" here and there. But it have not been a major problem

Who is the player you fear the most in A-monkeys?
I would have to say Tiigeri he is so handsome that he might seduce me in the middle of the match xD

Group D is considered as the group of death by the community do you think the same about it
Well to be honest i dont. I would say group B is the hardest to pass. But i think the groups are very well made, nice worke admins xD

Whats the team you fear the most in your group?
I believe we stand a solid chance against every team in our group. By the way what is this F.E.A.R? that doesnt exist in noll8 xD

I don't know much about o8, but they have eddie so they have to be good! I hope that it'll be an exciting and tight match though we are still a little rusty.

Noone from your team is playing in the NC besides Tiigeri thats backup for Team Finland is that an advantage for you guys compared to some other teams that got some players playing in the NC?
Nah i don't think so. I think that most of the guys who play EC put their own team first and play NC matches only when they have time. Of course sometimes they won't be able to prac if their NC team has official but i don't see it being a big advantage to us.

The whole community is expecting that you guys can give a good fight against idle. Do you got the feeling after the weeks (tell me im wrong if it are days/months) your praccing again that you can give idle a good fight?
Actually we haven't played that much because saintt is playing too much WoW :( and we had to recruit Et1. Also when we were just getting used to 5on5, they changed it back (i like 6on6 more). Of course i think we can play tight games with idle, but first we'll have to concentrate on the group phase.

The group your in in considered as the group of death. Do you got the feeling to that your in the group of death?
Not really. I haven't followed the scene that much lately, so i don't know much about the new teams. We'll just go match by match forward and try to improve.

Who do you fear the most from noll8?
Eddie of course! His 4-man rifle kills in the past have convinced me :).

Whats the team you fear the most in your group?
Someone asked me the same question earlier and it's kinda hard to answer that one, because i don't know much about rewind and o8. Helix is a pretty good team though from what i've seen, but we'll just try to concentrate on one match at time.

The idea of a "comeback" was that made because of the change from ClanBase to 5v5?
No, though it was easier to find players at first because we wanted to be finnish only. We just thought with Xpaz that it would be cool to play some again and this is the outcome.

A lot of people are wondering about it. Did Raveneye never had the motivation to come back again?
No he didn't, he's busy with Q4 :/.

What are the goals for this team? Are they going for EC and CPC2 only or will it be for a longer time?
The first goal is definently EC, after that i'm not sure of. I can't say much about CPC2 except that i wish we'll get a team there.

Rewind known as HighBot before had some small changes in the line-up in the few weeks before EuroCup. Team-Helix on the other hand got a stable line-up for quite a long time. They are seen as one of the challangers for idle this season together with cdap-pi and sFx-Monkeys.

What do you think about tonights game?
we're gonna face off stable and strong team, and after we got some lineup / activity problems we don't know what's gonna happen but we'll do our best. Anyway, after our victory vs hx, we got some motivation back for do smth at this Eurocup

All of your players are playing in the NC too. Is this a problem for the team?
Well kind of, tomorrow we've 3 games, me with spain, clown with latvia and acozz with croatia. Also david needs to play with belgium at sunday. We try to play with Nations and also with clan, but that's very difficult because we're all 6 in a NC team. So somedays like tomorrow 3 of us need to play with NC, so can not pracc with clan

Who is the player you fear the most in one4one?
I don't fear any special player, but yes as a team, they are really strong and stable

What do we know about the teams?
A lot of people are talking nothing then good things about one4one. They did show us they are a team with a stable 6 man line-up. They all think one4one can come far this season because of the stable line-up and the teamwork they got.
Will it be enough tonight?

We all know that aMenti had some activity problems and they did recruit new players in the form of C|own and Marv. They did suprise us earlier this week with a 4-2 win against Team Helix. Like Winghaven said because of that win they got some more motivation and are ready to take the first win in this EuroCup.

After a few problems with the CB system the signups are open now for the 1v1 cup.
The signups will be open till Wednesday 16th of october 12.00. When the signups are closed we wil make the divisions+groups and the groups will be up at sunday. The first matchweek is from 23.10 - 29.10.

Some info about the divisions and groups.

One division will be 16 teams. There are 4 teams in one group. So each division will have 4 groups with 4 teams.
The top two of each group (for ALL divisions) will go to the playoff stage.

The clan that ends first in a group will face a clan that ended second in an other group.

The playoff stage got three rounds. There won't be double ellimination. A loss in the playoffs means that your out of the cup.

A new cup is starting soon.

6v6? 5v5? No! This will be 1v1.
Your still discussing bout 5o5 or 6o6 ? Forget all this. ET is not only Teamplay. ET is Action. ET is speed. ET is AIM! So show all this in the unique 1v1 cup that is teambased.
I hear you think "Teambased?" Yea teambased.

It won't be a normal 1v1 cup. Its something new in the ET scene.

Match layout
Both teams need to have three different players that are on the allowed playerlist.

For example :
Team A is : player A1, A2 and A3
Team B is : player B1, B2 and B3

One match got three maps. So each player will play one map. So its not allowed to let a player play two maps.
In a match one objective map will be played and two "frag" maps where the deaths are deciding who's winning.
So for example this match will look like this :
A1 vs B2 map : ctf_multidemo (objective map)
A2 vs B3 map : multi_huntplace (frag map)
A3 vs B1 map : te_valhalla (frag map)

The team that wins at least two of the three maps is winning the match.

A rather revolutionary modification named 'ET: Tactics' has seen first light, a mod which transforms the first-person shooter game "Enemy Territory" into a so-called First-Person Tactical Game.


Joshua 'Zaedyn' Menke
The creator of the mod, Joshua "Zaedyn" Menke, wants to achieve a game where only teamwork and tactics focusing on the objectives will determine the outcome of the game. With this in mind, Zaedyn has removed the "aiming" factor completely from the game.

"Like RPGs, RTT and even Real-Time Strategy games, the computer will do the aiming. You just look in the general direction of the target and fire. This will make aiming easier for some and harder for others. But the same all around," the computer science graduate student said.

An integrated server-side aimbot will use in-game aspects such as distance to target, weapon, experience points and battle-sense to determine the likelihood of actually hitting your opponent. This will diminish the effects of any strafing, dodging and manual aiming when calculating headshots.


Enemy Territory
Additionally, each team will have one commander assigned, who will be able to look around on the maps just like regular spectators. However, his "all-seeing" ability, to see the enemy positions is restricted to the field of sights of its players in combat.

It will be interesting to see whether this revolutionary mix between RPG and FPS will be accepted by the Enemy Territory community.
