Just a moment ago the former Enemy Territory squad of Overload Gaming also known as Kreaturen became the new ET team of the British multigaming organisation
Team Coolermaster. TCM should be not new to all of you as it is the home of former rifle star gifty who is now rocking the Call of Duty scene. With TCM stepping into Enemy Territory we have again a professional gaming organisation within our Community. After names like Dignitas, Insignia Cadre and The Last Resort have been around in the past, TCM will hopefully not be the last clan picking up an ET team. The team itself features nothing new as it should remain the team which will play this Eurocup.

I had a little chat with team captain perfo who gave me this statement regarding the move of his team:

EC silver medal winner Team EDiT did next to Impact Gaming and mPg now as well strenghten their team with adding two CDC winners to their lines. Former Impact player Matias as well as ex unKind player Sheep who also played for Impact, now joined up with the number one team of Belgium. Furthermore ex EDiT and cZar player Kevin returned to his mates by leaving the French guys of Muse Gaming. Having recently given up to form an all Belgian team with adding dutch player abort to the squad, they now added a Fin and a UK boy to the team, which makes them a further European mix next to Impact, KKK and n1ce. The new lineup consists now offcially of the following players.

For the upcoming Eurocup and Gamestar Ladder Season VAE.QW has made some changes their lineup. Verty and 7474 have been removed from the roster and the team sees the return of MADKnut. Furthermore eyescream who is known on the quake wars scene for his tanking skills takes up the position of the 7th man. The new VAE.QW lineup now is as follows:

Wormie part ways
After playing with Wormie for a long time we are sad that we had to throw him out of the team,since he is without doubt a good player. The reason is that he simply didn't
fit socially with the rest of the team.

We wish Wormie good luck in the future both IRL and in gaming.

Also bamZe, our solid infantry player from ET, will be playing less in the coming months because of his current job situation.

We continue our coverage of Live2Win as we look towards what promises to be an excellent Lower Bracket Round 4 match. Everytime these teams meet we get entertained with overtime on LAN, now we get to see them online in a battle between what some would class as the top 2 teams in Europe.

22:00 GMT Sunday 30th March - Lower Bracket Round 4 - Fnatic vs TheLastResort - Crash

Fnatic return from a 4th place finish at i33 which could be seen as a dissapointing result. This is only a credit to their previous successes at CDC4 and the Crossfire Q Cup . 16-13 was the result at i33 on Crash however with Mintr taking a short break after an exhausting few weeks, Klanne will be the man to take his place. No sniper? That's the question, will they just rage with SMG's or will somene else step into Mintr's shoes?

TheLastResort played magnificently at i33 and perhaps were a little unlucky not to win. However another 2nd place at a major event is a fantastic result for the young team that have picked up €5000 in March. After defeating Fnatic 16-13 on Crash at i33 they went on to steal victory on District against Evil Geniuses 13-11 and then rampage their way to a 2nd map in the Stage Finals against Dignitas on Crash in overtime 16-14 . Sadly for them though after building a huge 10-2 lead on District Dignitas managed to drag it all the way back to overtime and claim victory leaving TLR once again the bridesmaids.

After such epic games between these 2 teams it would only be right to bring you more Live Video Coverage with Deman & TosspoT on Sunday 22:00 GMT on QuadV TV1.

Once again I welcome you to the group stage of the EuroCup. We have had a nice couple of matches the last week to see which teams qualify to play in the next Enemy Territory EuroCup.

All games will once again be played according to a pre-made roster. If a match-date is not suitable for your team you can arrange to have it changed to another date/time by agreeing to a new time slot for the game with your opponent for that particular game and e-mailing Koe or Bartichello with this information at least 48 hours before the ORIGINAL match. Both teams need to send a mail.

Every team should take this time top read up on the rules. Guids must be in order 24 hours before each game. You know when each game is supposed to take place so checking it beforehand isn't that much trouble. If for any reason you could not change your guid in time be sure to warn the supervisors of this problem.

Also we now have a real coverage sup working for us. I hope everyone is willing to cooperate when he wishes to make coverage for any of your matches. You never know that Stealth might wish to interview you.

Clanbase Eurocup Season XVII is nearly ready to kick off as the last qualifiers today decided which teams can play for fame and glory in this spring. Just before EC starts Europe's best teams have been very busy on the transfer market to finalise their rosters and to strenghten their chances to win. After lio re-entering his squad due to his ban removal, Team EDiT now seem to be strong enaugh to at least show a strong performance like they did last season. But EDiT were not the only ones completing their lineups.

Reigning CDC4 Champions Impact Gaming have made one further step to ET world dominition, at least on the paper. With adding former Dignitas, idle.ee and u96d player JaKaZc to their team they have now a team gathered which could without a problem be Enemy Territory's dream team. With idle.ee allstars Night, Reload and r3vers; Eurocup winner and LAN ownator Toxic and mister aim god alive aka mAus this seems to be - for me - without a doubt our next EC Champions. It remains to be seen how much this team can practise since two players do still play ET:QW for Team Dignitas, namely JaKaZc and Relaod. To let you see yourself how strong this team does now look alone on the paper, here is the complete lineup of Impact Gaming.

From talking about the Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4 Champions we now turn over to the reigning Clanbase Eurocup Champs which are of course the german stars from mPg. Beating strong teams like Cortana and Team EDiT in last season's EC they unfortunately did not make it to CDC4 or where not allowed to. Anyway, they now had to recruit a new player to complete the team after an argument between top player snoop and the rest of the team which lead to the disbanding of the two parties. After a week of testing the mega pro's today can call their team complete. With british younstar razz complementing the squad, the team now aims to defend the EC title against even stronger challengers this season. The converted mpg does now look like this.

And there we are, finally the qualifiers are coming to an end. Some of you might be happy that I will tell you that this will be my last newspost concerning this ec as I will have to practice with my own team from now. Therefor I hope there will be some guys that are willing to take over my ' job '. It takes maybe 15 mins and in my opinion does something for the community. Ministry of Defense have had a good run in this tournament although have admitedly had a fairly free run as well avoiding a lot of top seeds along the way. However now it gets near to the semi finals they will have to stand and fight.

Revolution have dominated their way into the Semi-Finals so far with big scores all the way. Can they continue that dominance over MoD is the question that needs answering?

20:30 GMT - WB Semi-Final - Bangin it eurostyle vs Roskilde Ravens - Vacant

Banging it eurostyle previously known as Redemption pulled off the shock of the Cup in the last round defeating Fnatic 17-12 on Strike. Not only that but they also defeated TheLastResort 13-7 on Backlot. Results like this have not gone unnoticed and a lot of people will be looking towards this match to see if they can do it again.

Roskilde Ravens have just returned from a semi successful lan at i33 with a 7-8th place finish. I say semi successful as they had a great time in the group stages beating Tek-9 and drawing 12-12 with Evil Geniuses but come knockout time they had a tough match against TeK-9 and then met Exabyte who raged them. However they played very well and will no doubt pick themselves up for this tough match online.
