We've had two dropouts in the ET tournament so the time is approaching for teams wishing to requalify for CDC4 must send in their emails by Sunday and be available to play a tournament on Wednesday & Thursday of next week.
Drop outs:
Authentic - No reason supplied
Unique - Lost their spot cause they wanted to change 4 players, were forced to requalify with new lineup.
Just one day after we have seen OCRANA winning against DEFAULT.Team it is today time for the second match at the ESL Major Series Playoffs. The first match of the winner bracket semi finals features the almighty Team-Dignitas facing at 21 CET the British lords of Four-Kings. One day after the premiere for ETQW:TV you can watch today the next match as GamesTV.org will once again host enough ETQW:TV servers.
Who will be first team in the winner bracket final, Team-Dignitas or Four-Kings? Both teams could win their first match in the last week with 4:0 and are one of the four remaining teams in the winner bracket. Tonight the European powerhouse, which could win nearlly everything in the past few weeks, wants to make the next step towards the biggest part of the € 2000 prizemoney. On the other side is Four-Kings. The winner of group C is today the clear underdog, but not without any chance. But even if they should lose the match tonight, they will still have another chance in the upcoming week at the lower bracket.

In the upper bracket, Team SPEED-LINK now awaits a standoff with Kompaniet. These Germans aren't feeling very confident either, but at least they'll have a lower bracket to fall back on. ETQW:TV has been set up for this fixture, and you can find all the details on the matchpage or here.

Maybe some of you already think back about those marvelous ET games in the past. Epic battles between Europe's finest players engaged in a geographic war. Next Sunday, Crossfire wants to give the ET community something extra. We want you to have a toe-curling experience with another Crossfire All-Star Event.
aMenti the team that became The Last Resort and won CPC2 and CDC3 have moved on their lives. Earlier this week the side left H2k.QW and announced that they'd no longer be playing Quakewars, but would be sticking together popping up in the CDC4 CoD qualifiers, whilst also being in the ET tournament aswell playing under the name New Project.
Not really very new, the brand has a long RTCW history with various Spanish squads under their belt in the past, whilst none of them truly reached the games pinnacle this writer remembers the name fondly. The sides intentions were to play both CoD and ET at CDC, time will tell whether they weight their priorities differently after being knocked out of the CoD tournament.
Anyway the New Project ET & CoD squad is now as follows;
Winghaven

dAv1d
Clown

Two matches of the ET: Quake Wars ESL Major Series Playoffs have already been played, the other ones will be played this weekend. With Four-Kings facing the Polish team of Random Gaming we will start tonight for the last two matches of the first round. The match will be played at 21 CET, featuring at least two hot maps - on Sewer and Refinery.
With three wins out of three matches is Four-Kings one of the still unbeaten teams in the ESL Major Series. The winner of the 2nd EU Qualifier and New Years Night Cup could easily get on the top of group C and secured together with DEFAULT.Team a slot for the Playoffs. Today they will face the next team from Poland, called Random Gaming. As number two in group D they seem to be the outsiders today, but as always both teams will start with the same initial situation. The winner will face the winning team of tomorrows match between Team Dignitas and Team Pelit, while the losers of both matches will fight for their last chance in the upcoming week.
Theres been a great of interest from ET teams regarding any remaining CDC spots that may be available and to grant your wishes one may soon be on the market! Yes thats right, Kojak's situation has been sent into disarray after manager Equilbirium's contracts proved to all be fake and he turned out to be a little shit. Their CoD squad has already left and are hunting for another Multi Gaming Organisation and now without the support they were promised the ET teams attendance to CDC is in jeopardy (though not canceled yet).
To improve on previous years offering and in preparation for this and any other drop out, we'd like to invite those teams who still want to attend but lost their qualifiers to reapply (to crossfiresignups at gmail.com) for a third qualifying round (this replacing the unpopular first come first serve ruling). This will most likely be limited to those who lost the second qualifying round but we'll see what happens there at the time. Teams who threatened death to the admins, but then said sorry are not welcome to sign back up.
The final day has arrived and tonight we will finish the list with the participants of the upcoming Crossfire Devotii challenge 4 with the 6 remaining matches coming up tonight from 20.00 CET kicking off, it's Dark&Beyond facing Friends in Force with dnb as clear favorites. Right afterwards a tight match according to the best gamestv.org might came up with the UK mates UnKind facing the germans a.ToOn without a single favorite. At the same time Team Ephix will try to save their lan spot beating gameDivision and the Open Cup winner Tag with a brand new mix will try to beat visualise. Kojak will face the second Czech team Magic Balloons. Last but not least we have the eastern europe clash with Necroraisers facing Authentic to finalize the night with the last major and hopefully very close fight.
