Parodia spot open to the best challenger

When Finland Parodia were invited to the Crossfire PrizeFight Challenge, it was because even though they'd been inactive for a year. There was no doubt they were one of the best 4 teams wanting to attend. How do you replace a team that garentueed a quality display?
Using the same mentality of ensuring that the team that replaces Parodia is the BEST of the BEST, for that reason we are launching a one day cup to replace Parodia, this cup will have no roster restrictions or team restrictions, other than if players have already qualified or been invited they are not allowed to play in this tournament.

There is no doubt that this will raise a few eyebrows, however the mentality behind this is as follows. The invite spots were because the teams were the best, they would ensure that the tournament will be the best. The invites were seperate to the qualifer tournament that we run, and thus we are using the same mentality, we want the best. And so, we will invite the winner of this tournament.

Does a team deserve to be at the lan if they didnt signup? The only team that deserves to replace Parodia is the best team out there.

This has opened the door for KiH, Crossfire & noll8 to attempt to take this place, who have all expressed an interest in the spot. Aswell as teams like sFx and t34 who failed to qualify but have expressed an interest at trying again.

This one day tournament will take place on SUNDAY at 18:00 CET, and the roster that is being used in this cup, MUST be the roster being used on lan, to signup message an op in #Parodiaspot to be added to the cup.

Maps will be Fixed at Adlernest & Braundorf with radar as decider, Teams should contact Crossfire Admins asap

Violence is bad - and it's back!

The Belgian multigaming clan Belgium violence is bad, known for their high performance throughout RTCW history and taking first place in the Clanbase RTCW OpenCup Premier league in Spring 2005, are proud to announce two new Enemy Territory divisions.

The first a 6on6 team, consisting mainly of ex team Russia tank34 players will try to show its best with the following line-up:

Latvia Clown
Latvia dunno
Latvia fuzz
Russia Officer
Latvia vinyl
Germany zerender

I got a short statement from vinyl

QuoteEveryone in the [former] tank34 team have played together with team Latvia during past Nations Cup seasons, we're aiming to at least get a EuroCup qualifier spot in the upcomming season. Hopefully playing for such a big multigaming clan can motivate us to perform better and achieve.

They will be participating in most upcoming cups, including the #13 ET-Cup and ESL International Premiership Series.

Team Finland defix, after loosing several players who retired from active gaming, are a worthy squad to compete as a 3on3 team under the vib tag. Their line-up:

Finland Clouver
Finland funky
Belgium Spectre

More information to be availiable on violence is bad website soon.

Searching 6on6 high!

The ESL international IPS Qualifiers will be the next big event coming up with some hot ET Action! For the national sections of the ESL, Germany Germany and the Czech Republic Czech Republic, the qualifiers are on their way. Only 4 days left to signup for the international Cup to participate in the upcoming ESL International Premiership Series for Enemy Terriotry to fight for 1.500€ Prizemoney.

image: head

We have already some active clans signed up for the international qualifier:
Europe Northern Darkness, Europe Spreading Death, Sweden zeroPoint Gaming, Poland dtekt.et - Warriors of Wolfenstein, Poland Team Delta and Europe Team-Helix

The 16 spots are already filled, and thats the reason why this post was made: We will possibly expand the size of the cup to 24 or 32 teams, which is based on the interest of the community.

So if you think you have the potential to play on a high level and if you want to participate for money, join up.

At the moment, we have 4 Spots saved as prize for participating in this cup and to play in the upcoming ESL IPS season, but since this is not realy much for more then 16 teams, we can increase the amount of spots to 8. which makes it even more serious for the clans to play this qualifiers and to take their chance to participate.

Rotterdam Calling

Tonight, the final two LAN attendees will be decided, destined to join both Sweden Rewind and Netherlands team.nl, along with the 4 invited teams in Rotterdam. Both Rewind and team.nl fought through their second round ties earlier this week - with convincing straight map victories.

Tonight’s match of the week is an all Polish encounter that’ll surely pack all the punches. Both teams cruised through their first round matches, WoW overturning the seeded tank34 whilst Team Delta spread the death all over Malta.

In recent times Dtekt (WoW) have played second fiddle to Team Delta (Polewka), this is their chance to shine. Once again the maps will be Supplydepot2 and Radar, with Frostbite as the decider should it be required.

As the saying goes, this is too close to call. Niech wygra najlepszy lager !

The fourth and final ET qualifier will be running simultaneously to this. It sees Vicious and Evil take on AgonyRealm it what promises to be a hostile encounter. After much confusion the lineups have been finalised and practices got underway.

Milk.LAN announced

image: milklan

After having the Outpost on Fire LAN in Antwerp, Belgium the CoD2 community seems to be ready for the recent LAN announcements.

As we all know Crossfire LAN will be held at 2. - 3. September with a couple of top-teams. Additionally dutch LAN organizer Netgamez has announced its autumn edition LAN event, which will feature higher prize purses in the Counter-Strike and Call of Duty 2 competitions. With over $5000 for Counter Strike at stake and $1500 for Call of Duty 2, it is the first time Netgamez really has increased its prize money to attract some top teams to compete in Nieuwegein halfway October.

Just a few days ago some news were announced concerning the milk.LAN, which will take place in a LAN center in Paris. The organisers have invited ten french and ten other european teams, which already have accepted this invite. Those 20 teams will fight for 1000€ (prizepurse maybe will increase after further talks to sponsors and businesses). This Non-BYOC LAN is taking place at 28th and 29th of October.
