They kick some obivous hackers en some clean players so it will like the clean players are also cheating.

alex, and lio was whole dif case.. it was text from cheat in ur swap memory, that you got from irc or browser.. and they only kicked like 4 ppl by using that abuse.. rest of kicks got that string for irc spam or/and it was even on frontpage of xfire... as you are kicked you should know how did they do it then.. did they write something to you in irc? did you see some weird text @ some forums or what?

and you are not that known that it would b any use to kick you to make it look like its not bug...

there are lots of possibilites for a cheat, im not going to list them since it would just provoke cheatcoders to use such features. it would be completely undetectable except by punkbuster and it could only detect it if someone leaks it. there would be no busting from demos etc.

uuhm, its not that hard rly. They use some tool that checks the version of pb b4 ET starts. To make a cheat undetectable all one needs to do is to recompile the code of some cheat and voila you got yourself a new undetected hack.

Its basic knowledge about cheats. I just read some cheater forums a long time ago where they kept on saying how easy it is to make cheats undetectable. Coders put the code of old detected hax up. Anyone with the smallest bit of coding experience could change a line (like a comment) recompile the source and voila you have a undetectable hack.

I think it has to do with how pb looks for hacks, they look for certain strings of code. Recompiling a hack will change the code (well not the source, but the thing ppl put on their pc)

Pretty ironic, I'm playing this game for quite a while now, never downloaded any shit or whatever just had my autoexec + some custom maps in my ET folder, and guess what... i've never been kicked for whatever reason. To alll the guys who've been kicked ->just accept your stupidness . Ok maybe you really didnt hack, still pb found something and kicked you for that, watch your ET folder better in the future and just dont put any ( for you ) unknown commands in your autoexec or any files in your etfolder.

I really cant believe that people are getting kicked because of nothing, luckily we have a nice word for that: busted.
