Last but not at least we got one of Denmarks best COD4 players Fr33dom

Hi fr33dom, please could you introduce yourself for the readers incase they don't know who you are.

Well, my name is Lasse and I am 21 years old. I have played CoD 2 in some of the best danish teams and I am currently playing for Team Infinity in CoD 4, where I have been playing since may '07.


Have you being playing other games besides COD?

No, not really. The only games i have played competitive is CoD 2+4. Even though I also have been playing a bit CoD 1.


You and your team Infinity are going to attend at CDC4. Could you tell us a bit about your team?

My team have existed since may 2007 (Fr33dom, CSD, outlaw). Me and CSD started our own team, since we were both unhappy with our seperate teams back then, I was playing for Roskilde and did not feel it was the right team for me at that moment. In CoD 2 and the start of CoD 4 we had several non danish players, e.g. Shadzaj, h0lic, Stallion, ROSS + more. But we decided to go all danish lineup, and I think it really has improved our communication inside.

The current teams exist of the 3 main players, plus recently recruited zENTSE & zetrex. Which are coming from the DOD:S scene. In our preparation for CDC 4, we have been botcamping with Roskilde Ravens, fnatic and VAE. But we may not be fully prepared as we should have been, since I have been away from home in 2 weeks of the last 3 weeks before CDC, because of commitments to my job. But we hope for the best, and believe in it!

We can make some surprises, as we are the underdogs.


How was the bootcamp by the way? Was it fun and did you learn something?

Of course it was pretty fun, the LAN itself but also to meet eachother face to face. But yes, we surely got our tacs tweaked a bit and learned how good we were compared to the other teams. We did ok at the bootcamp, but the last weeks before CDC we have improved even more. But again I was very happy to get the invite from fRiJeC, it was a great experience and a morale booster for our team.


What do you think about the CDC4 ruleset and the seeds?

Well, the seeds, I believe some people have came to know my oppinion on the seeds, maybe I was a bit to eager to share my thoughts ;) But lets say that in my oppinion the qualification has been pretty pointless, if you win against a team in the qualifier and they get a lot higher seed than you, then something have failed. In my oppinion should the teams that get the "free" spots in order to go to the lan, get the lowest seeds. But I do not care that much, we have to show our selves anyway, not matter which opponent. I just felt like "wtf" when I saw us in seed pole 5 as the only team. But the ruleset is in my eyes pretty good.


Your top3 at CDC4?

My top 3 (excluding Infinity): 1. fnatic (yes just because i was bootcamping with them :P) 2. SK-gaming 3. tek9.
