12:40 WZZRD have remodelled the venue since the last event, and it looks amazing and is far more spacious. Plus, not only do we have the WZZRD centre, but we've also got the neighbouring sports bar, which gives us more than twice as much room as at CDC3. This is shaping up to be an amazing event!

13:18 It's two hours before the bootcampers are due to begin and the 7 sets of PCs (42 machines in total) already at Wzzrd are just having the finishing touches put to their installs and configs. Still waiting on delivery of the remaining 30 machines (supplied by our generous sponsors Packard Bell), but after a morning full of furniture moving by Penn and Adacore these should just slot right in when they arrive.

13:56 The first of the bootcamp teams has started to arrive. TLR CoD4 were, of course, here yesterday but 4Kings ETQW and Epsilon CoD4 have just rolled in and are setting up ready for a hard day (and night) of preparation. The desktops are up on all the machines here and they look awesome (kudos to Chosen).

14:25 Swine is busy with packing his bags.

14:52 The admins have been well fed by the movie burger diner, and we're now waiting for the Packard Bell PCs which should be arriving any minute. Then we've got the awesome job of carting them all up to the playing area above the sports bar and getting them set up - could be a long afternoon/evening...

14:55 All the other bootcamping teams are arriving - UF Gaming CoD4 have arrived, as have Fear Factory CoD4. n1ce ET and Eyerollers CoD4 should be here shortly. And we've just heard that the Packard Bell PCs have arrived, so it's all hands to the pumps getting them offloaded and in place.

18:29 The staff is installing the Packard Bell PCs currently while n1ce is setting up there PCs. FearFactory was just winning a round with all red screens around and TLR went in a small tactic meeting, find the pictures in our [urlnew=http://www.crossfire.nu/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=4]gallery[/url].

19:55 Packard Bell PCs are not being nice when it comes to installing XP - only a few have XP up and running, and all the admins are fighting with the others to try and find a way to get XP on instead of Vista. This is going to be a late night for the crossfire crew, and the event's not even started yet!

20:29 Problem solved! XP is installing on the Packard Bells and we should have all the machines set up and running smoothly by midnight. Great news, and we might actually get out of here and get some sleep before the event starts tomorrow.

20:31 Also, loads of people are coming in and the atmosphere here is starting to get really buzzing. I've got Senji and Jakazc sitting behind me (I'm typing on 4K.morg's bootcamp PC and setup), and the bar is filling up.

22:33 Refreshed by a hefty meal from the Greek restaurant (probably the last break of more than 5 minutes we'll have for the next 3 days), the admin crew are now back on the task of getting all the PCs up and ready for tomorrow's kickoff at 9am.

00:25 We've now met pedro, and he's a lovely man. He's a bit shorter than we thought, but size doesn't matter (he told us to say that). Anyway - on to the matters at hand, XP is up on most of the Packard Bells and CoD is being copied across. It'll still take a while, but it looks like it will work tomorrow (fingers crossed).
