Group B games start at 16:00 CEST on the Saturday and the top 2 teams will qualify directly to the playoffs. The third placed team in the group will get the chance to qualify through a decider game with the third placed team of group C - Below is a quick look at each team and their lineups.
Finlantic6
twidi
Matias
Iron
Jewe
OLBAA
Salaneuvos
Finlantic6 are probably the biggest hurdle for Anexis at the event and could well take first place if performances go well. The team consists of a full Finnish lineup which boasts multiple LAN winning members in olBaa, Matias, Iron and twidi rounding off the lineup are Jewe and Salaneuvos. Nothing less then making it to the Grand Final is expected of this team and as long as they can make it that far anything is possible in the game itself.
Player to watch: olBaa
olBaa is one of the more experienced players attending AEM and Finlantic6 will look to him to make the big impact moves and get the kills where teammates otherwise would not. olBaa is recognised as one of the better aimers to come out of Finland and has won numerous online and offline tournaments.
Game Changer: Matias
Matias has been part of more winning teams than any other Finn in ET history bringing a unique style of a more complete all-round performer. Although being largely inactive in recent years and not seemingly playing with the confidence he has done in previous LAN tournaments hopefully he pushes onto the next level so we get to see some of the great performances we are use to.
Zero Empathy
Green_Clon
denton
malfoy
Testi
mental
Rifleman
ZeroE have a mix of players that have played together for a while in Green_Clon, denton, malfoy and Rifleman, building up some good teamwork and this has helped them get some good results in recent times. Testi and mental complete the lineup and will do their best to help their team finish in at least a 7/8 position although they will probably have their sights set higher.
Player to watch: Green_Clon
Green_Clon is a very important player for this team and has been part of the core lineup for a long time. He will be hoping to improve on the disappointment of SAGE last year and being with more familiar players will give him every chance to do that. The Czech players style is more of a defensive aimer and hopefully this fits in with his teams strategy.
Game Changer: denton
denton is a quality rifle and has the ability to hold off even the best opposition in clutch situations. ZeroE have a good chance of surprising at the event and the performance of denton will be key to this, if he is firing on on cylinders it will give his team the best possible chance to excel and upset at AEM.
Mysterious-Monkeys
rAMOZ
Fendah
genShi
mztic
Phazor
znArk
Mysterious Monkeys have a full German lineup and will be hoping to make it out of the groupstage and make an impression in the playoff stages. The team has reasonable mix of players but will rely heavily on the experienced players in the team to get things done. The lineup consists as mentioned by six German players who are rAMOZ, Fendah, genShi, mztic, znArk and Phazor.
Player to watch: Fendah
Fendah is an all-round performer who plays mainly the damage dealing classes and mM will hope he can bring the big performances when it comes to LAN to give them the best chance of making it through the groupstage.
Nothing But Skillz 2.0
HunteR
Woooooo
FarhanN
Abzes
Mustang
Goku
NBS 2.0 are a group of players formed up for the event and will hope to bring some quality that will let them walk away with some good memories of their performance at the event. A couple of new faces to LAN as well and this is always a good thing, hopefully they will be at other events in the future. Five Dutchies join Goku in this lineup and they are Hunter, Woooooo, FarhanN, Abzes and Mustang.
Player to watch: FarhanN
FarhanN brings the smg skills to the lineup and performed quite well in the seeding tournament. The Dutchman's performances at AEM will be key to ensure the team come out the other side with something to talk about, he seems to be a strong smg shooter and if he manages to produce the same performances offline it will give them every chance.
