The Eurocup has almost come to it's end with the Grand Final this monday. It was a hectic tournament with epic battles, heroic individual actions and of course the bans executed by the Clanbase C&A section.
The tournament itself shows us the best team, because we can assume that the that wins the tournament, was actually the best. But what about the players. A team is formed by six players and in a lot of situations can't function properly if one of those six is missing. Dignitas for example, even with the experienced Sol as a replacement, it was obvious that they missed Night in some of their matches. And that's why I decided to take the credits to the players one step further. By hosting a "Most Valuable Player" award.
The system is as follows:
The community will take the first step by casting their votes during a period of two weeks. This will happen on voting script set up for this award. IP's will be recognized to ensure the fairness of the votes. The top 5 players after two weeks of voting will continue to the next stage of this award, which is a panel of 5 people, all with different nationalities.
The voting will start directly after the Grand Final is finished. So probably on next Monday.
On page 1 you will find the complete list of players that have played this Eurocup. You can vote on all of them as soon as the vote script is online.
Please do not just follow your fanboy instinct, also consider if the player you are about to vote really showed something during this Eurocup.

cheating = cheating.
all im saying is that were talking about the value of a player here. the value is based on how he played. so the goal of this award is to determine who added the most to the game. now cheating would mean you are unnaturally adding value to your own game to increase your chances.
this award is taking the terrain of the eurocup. so if someone in the eurocup was adding value to his game unnaturally by using cheats, he wouldve been deleted from the list. but since all of the players banned cheated outside the eurocup. they didnt boost their value unnaturally. so they still get the chance to be awarded most valuable player.
altough he has had his punishment he still is a cheater and maybe even cheated later than perfo did. so just because perfo was caught later than razz, perfo isnt allowed to be on this list, and razz actually is? that doesnt seem fair to me.
i mean its all about timing... if perfo had been caught 1 week later, he would have been able to play the EC final.
he is now caught for a hack he did earlier than for example razz, but now has to pay the consequences on a worse time than razz...

Apart from that, imagine this award being won by one of the banned guys. That would be pretty damn retarded, if not an example of the farce the Enemy Territory community has become.
they are banned because they deserve a punishment for using hacks on a public server because that's also part of the ET community. but there's no reason to burn everything they've done or achieved just because they used hacks on a public and in perfo's case even 1 or 2 years ago. i just think that the matches they played in the Eurocup were clean and therefore they are legitimate to be on this list.
Its not even a case about proving that they cheated .. its already been proved,you have to be able to proof that they didnt cheat in the clanbase matches or just remove them from the list.
how ever, i can give you all my ec demo´s they i guess they proof that i never used hax in ec match, its just not possible to suck so hard with hax :<

If you think its fun to cheat on a noob public .. why do you cheat there,if your playing on EC level you should be able to own them with your own skill just as bad or are you not good enough and needed an extra ego boost to hear from lowskillers that your oh so good.

now if the matches wouldve been forfeited, that wouldve been another story but since theyre not, i think its fully reasonable to let them be on the list.

Besides capturing a flag he was a great medic too, one of the best in EC.
I don't even think he revived Razz when he was repairing the tank, cos I think that was Future.
The only nice thing I saw sqzz doing was killing 2 guys rushing to the truck on Bremen, that's it.
So tell me once again what EXACTLY did he do that made evolve win this game?
And I am not anti Sqzz, I am anti-Sqzzfanboyism.
