United Kingdom Team Dignitas
Finland Logitech.fi
Netherlands ephix
Germany Team-adocom

Although this group features two teams from the top 5 in the latest Gotfrag European rankings, the late addition of ephix to replace nEophyte and the poor recent form of adocom does make this group slightly more predictable than some of the others. Adocom, previously known as DoubleSlash, will be attending CPC for the second time but will need a big improvement in their play if they are to challenge Dignitas or Logitech while Ephix will be lucky to avoid the bottom spot in this group. A mention must go out to nEophyte here, the former inteRaction side appear to be in serious trouble and according to the Crossfire admins have unofficially dropped out of the event without telling anyone. Their recent form has seen them perform well online but this latest move will surely raise doubts as to their credibility.

The real point of interest here is Logitech versus Dignitas, both sides were disappointing at shgOpen and the loser of what is likely to be the deciding match in Group B could be faced with a very tough first round playoffs tie. Dignitas are fresh from their win at i30 but dropping a map to Reason in the finals might not have been the preparation they had in mind. Regardless, the time spent together practicing on lan pings won't have done them any hard and Logitech will have to settle quickly if they are to avoid defeat to a Dignitas side who spent most of yesterday bootcamping at the event venue. The map choice could prove crucial, with Dignitas looking as strong as ever on Dawnville but unusually beatable on Burgundy. No matter the result, it would be a massive surprise if both teams didn't make it out of this group and maybe even get quite far in this tournament.
