Some time has passed since we published the entries of our #1 1on1 Map Contest. The 1on1 Maptest Cup was held on Sunday and we saw several nice matches with a great final on ETTV. Now we are ready to release the final result the jury has come up with and crown the winner of this map contest.

Another competition is coming to an end. Many newcomers of the mappingbusiness tried their best and achieved some remarkable results! We are proud to present you the seven entries of our mapping competition (ordered by gametype)!

Today we show the winner bracket semi final between Netherlands H2k and Finland Masculine Mans. The other winner bracket match will be played by Croatia cortana and Poland devilry later this week. Is H2k versatile enough?

It is the time again, ladies and gentlemen, for some Winter League '08 action. Tonight we will bring the remaining two first round matches of the Premier League to you. Previously Finland mASCULINE MANS and Croatia cortana passed on to the second round. The latter won 4:2 versus Europe aToOn.rY.

The big favourite of this competition and CC5 champion Netherlands H2k will face Europe versatile at 20:00 CET. But is Netherlands H2k versatile enough to overcome this opponent as they did with any other in the groupstage? Make sure you do not miss this one!

ESL ET ladders relaunch

image: eslAs previously announced in the latest column here on Crossfire the ESL ET Ladders have been reset. Our ladders offer you games in the following formats: 1v1 , 2v2 , 3v3 and ofcourse 6v6.

We will host the Most Matches Competition in the reopened ladders in the following months. Furthermore we plan to host special one day cups month by month in which we will invite the top ranked teams of our ladders.



We have also lowered the re-challenge block from 2 weeks to 3days. This means you do not need to wait as long as before until you can ask for revenge!

Also do not forget to check the "New Entries" link on the "Rankings" page of every ladder to find opponents which you can challenge. You will be listed here until you played your first match.

Premier League Playoffs

It finally is at the time to announce the playoffs for this years ESL Winter League premier division. Due to a tie in
Group A the teams needed to play each other again. In the end Poland devilry and Finland mASCULINE MANS made it to the double elimination playoff stage. Without further texting I introduce the playoff encounters to you:

Winter League Groupstage ends!

Today we will see the end of the ESL Winter League '08 Groupstage. There are 3more matches to be played before the playoffs are ready to kick off in all divisions and formats!

Todays matches could become more exciting than anybody would have expected a week ago as CC5 champion Europe Epsilon will play two matches while they just announce the departure of Germany zerender. These matches can turn the whole Group B of the Premier Division upside down. Every team has a chance left to reach the playoffs.

ESL ET Mapping Contest

When you look at the 1on1 Ladders mappool it appears to be pretty empty. To fix that we decided to open a mapping competition to all our users and hope to receive some great entrys!

This mapping competition will focus on 1on1 maps as these can be created in a much shorter time than big competition maps and also gives newbies of the mapping scene the chance to compete in this competition!

Tonight at 20:00 CET we will see Europe one4one facing Finland vital-gaming in the groupstage of the ESL ET Winter League '08 Premier division!

Up to now Finland vital-gaming is still unbeaten in Group D after overcoming Europe Kruger.et.
Europe one4one lost a close 3mapper versus Croatia cortana but still has good chances to proceed into the playoffs if they win some points in this match!

Winter League kicks off!

Enemy Territorys biggest competition this winter is ready to start. We will see 200+ teams and 100+ 1on1 players compete in 1on1, 3on3 and 6on6 format. While 3on3 and 6on6 is divided into several divisions the 1on1 competition got a special system due to high signup numbers. But read on for more detailed information on the upcoming!
