Lugerfrag Sottevast_b3 Showcup

image: lugerfragA new release of Sottevast, means a new Showcup! A few weeks ago we saw 3 teams battle it off on Sottevast_b2 and now that Sottevast_b3 is released we will see 3 more teams take on their guns. The teams that were so kind enough to participate in tonights showcup are:

Croatia elite
Netherlands artificial
Europe overdose

First up tonight are elite vs the back in action kings artificial. Then we will see artificial take on overdose, and in the end overdose will take on elite. The teams are expected to play the map once within the half hour. However, just like last time, if there is still time, I wouldn't mind the teams playing the map again.

Inside the Game will bring you live coverage of this showcup. You can tune in from 2015CET on this link: http://listen.radioitg.com/listen1.pls[/b]

If you still havent seen Sottevast_b3 yet, you can go to the following public server, provided by United Kingdom english, to test it:

Hello Eurocup!

[img|left]http://www.student.dtu.dk/~s020561/img/eurocup.png[/img]image: crew-icon Tonight the very first game of the 14th edition of the Clanbase Eurocup will be brought to you on a screen nearby! At 2100CET Sweden zeroPoint! will take on Europe Morrigu. Now as you can see on Clanbase zP! are the major favourites. Will Switzerland gifty and co be able to beat this 'unknown' Morrigu? Have they regained their faith after their defeat in Poland? Have they pracced enough for this game?

Morrigu on the other hand, as major underdogs, have 1 special card they can pull out. His name is Netherlands tekoa. But wether or not tekoa will actually play is not certain at all. Tekoa has quit gaming, and will only come back on some occasions. He will therefore not really train with the morrigu guys. So even if he plays, will his talent alone be enough? So the question is here too, will the dutchie Canada Wesbo and co be able to take down this team?

When you look at their group for both teams losing does not necessarily mean being kicked out of the EC. But if mQ wont be able to beat zP! they will have a very hard job in beating NETR. Atleast when you look at what happened at the LAN ;-) For zP! if they lose it will be very hard aswell. But as they say over at Adidas, impossible is nothing.

So there you have it folks, tonight you know what to do! Your evening is a evening full of EC! At 2100CET you can go connect to the ETTV servers. Of course a Eurocup game is not a Eurocup game without a shoutcast from Inside the Game. At 2030CET you can tune in to Inside the Game where Wesbo will be joining me for a quick preview on the game.

Lugerfrag Episode 9 - GA to Talk and Talk

image: lugerfrag
The show is delayed by 1 hour because foonr can't get home in time :-) Therefore the show will start at 2100CET

An all new Lugerfrag will come your way sunday at 2100CET! Of course as always I wont do this show alone, but I will be accompanied by the only man who really knows what an emo is, foonr! It has been about 2 weeks since our Episode 9 fiasco, so therefore we will do another episode 9. Hopefully Murphy's law wont apply this time. Readmore for the content.

Lugerfrag Episode 9 - HELLO.

image: lugerfrag
Due to Murphy's Law, the show is rescheduled to a later time and date. We apologise to the listeners who now have to spent 2 hours of their live, not knowing what to do. But we assure you, next week we will have a KICKASS show. We will kick foonr's ass:-) Apologies once again.

Tonight at 1845CET we will see the ninth episode of Enemy Territory's one and only ET radio show. This week, again, we have a jampacked schedule. And again, the one and only United Kingdom foonr will join me :-) Unfortunately after one and half hour I absolutely need to go. So the show ends at 2015CET. This week titles comes from a infamous quote from Germany FlyingDJ. HELLO. Not that this has anything to do with the show, I just couldn't think of a better one.

Lugerfrag Episode 8 - hot hot hot

image: lugerfragThat's right, after a long, long, long time of no weekly ET show, Lugerfrag is back in business. Tonight at 2100CET Lugerfrag kicks of again. This time with a new host who was presented to you earlier this week. Foonr and me will bring you a new episode.

Starting of as always with News of the Week. Lot of things happened this week, and plenty to discuss. Among which Gamestv.org's decision to not broadcast games from and word's up about the Atlantic battle.

Lugerfrag Episode 7 - Showcup

image: lugerfrag After all the commotion concerning Quakecon and ET, the hosted Summer Cup and ET and of course the Crossfire Appeal, it is time to lay back and chill this evening. And that's exactly what you can do! Tonight at 1930CET the seventh episode of Lugerfrag will commence.

As always we will be starting of with News of the Week. We've seen some interesting news this week, with of course today as the busiest news day!

But that's not what matters tonight. Tonigh it's all about the Showcup. At 2000CET the Lugerfrag Showcup will take off to test the map called sw_fueldump_b2. There will be 2 semi-finals and 1 final(duh!). The first semi-final is at 2000CET between Finland MUOVAILUVAHAKERHO and Poland Team-Delta. For more info on that war visit this url.

At 2100CET the second semi-final of the evening will start with Finland sFx SKIT-EVIL taking on Germany Böse Quietscheenten. This German clan is just a fun clan, but it may well surprise you with people such as urtier, bigg, drago and conan.

Both semi-finals will consist of one time sw_fueldump_b2. The finals however, are a bit different. The game will be two times sw_fueldump_b2 and in case of decider it will be ánother time sw_fueldump_b2! So get ready for that! The final will start @ 2200CET.

Of course this entire evening is part of the Lugerfrag Episode and thus will be brought to you by Inside The Game. The episode will start at 1930CET at this server

sw_fueldump_te Released!

image: fuelclosedIt's been a few days since our last maptest for Lugerfrag (sw_railgun) and of course we couldn't stop there, so I went looking for a new map. I wanted to do sw_fueldump, but I knew that it wouldn't be much in the state that I found it in. I contacted arni, and luckily he could help me out. We changed sw_fueldump into a better one (or so we hope)! That's right ladies and gentlemen, Fueldump is back, and back with a vengeance.

Fueldump is a map that has been impopular for a while, and for good reasons. It was a slowmap with that annoying covert ops (some can disagree) and often lead to fullholds or coverts sneaking through. But it's always nice to have them oldies back, isn't it?

One and half year ago a guy named United States of America Mortis created a map called sw_fueldump, and it had some interesting changes. However, it still had snow, and, as we know, a lot of people are not so fond of the snow. Germany arni told me he could remove the snow, and make it a spring version. And he did. Me and arni looked at eachother, and we knew it, we had to change more in order for this map to work. And we did.

Lugerfrag Episode 6 - Confronting Clanbase

image: lugerfrag

The show has been uploaded: http://itg.filecloud.com/files/file.php?user_file_id=203474

Today we will see Lugerfrag going onair for its sixth episode. This will be the first time without the omniscient German, Germany FlyingDJ.

So what have we got for you tonight? A lot :-)

News of the week
As always we are starting of with News of the week. What happened over the past 1.5 week that affected ET? Of course we saw that the plug was pulled from KOTH, and that the ESL is on its way. But there was more.

Quakecon&Enlarged
After this there will be some info with regards to Quakecon&Enlarged. What's going on over there, and what will happen with the 2 biggest upcoming LAN's for ET. Or, well, will Qcon even have ET!?

Confronting Clanbase
Following the introduction, is the moment you've all been waiting for! The interview with Adacore. The interview is about 40 minutes long and should give some nice views on Clanbase. The only downside of the interview is that you really have to pay attention. The microphone of Adacore was not that splendid, and sometimes he is breaking up :-(

Let's talk ladders!
A small moment to talk about the current ladder system, and try to summarize what has been said. I've spoken to Poland Mrozu about it, and the result of that conversation will be on tonight aswell.

Maptest: renewed railgun; Showmatch!
To end tonight, instead of the normal maptest, there will be a showmatch. Finland sFx SKIT-EVIL came up with the idea. I invited Belgium AgonyRealm who, thankfully, accepted, and thus the game tonight will be between those two teams.

FlyingDJ Moves Over To GIGA2

image: UlikurzToday a good friend of mine announced his departure of Inside The Game. Germany FlyingDJ has been asked to join GIGA2 to help make it strong. After a lot of talks FlyingDJ has decided to go for it. This will also means we wont be seeing him around that much. Ofcourse this breaking news could not go unnoticed, and I decided to catch up with FlyingDJ for an interview. Here's what he had to say:

So mr DJ, this is your going away interview, but let's start by telling how you actually got here. How did you become a shoutcaster and when did you join iTG?
QuoteIt's actually not as big a deal as one might think. I started casting with the final of the tF Cup, wA! vs. uQ. I kept going, I got flamed, I received praise, and I really loved it. So I worked on my style, my grammar, my vocab and eventually applied to iTG. I became a part of iTG at the end of March 2006. The rest is history, as they say.

vae.et call it a day

image: vaelogo
swine brings us the news that vae.etis no more. Here's what he had to say on vae website

Quote"Seven months ago, six guys came together and founded the ET-Squad of Vicious and Evil. They started practicing and aimed high. They wanted to get into Eurocup XIII whether they get a direct invite or they have to play the qualifier. It took some time until they were able to compete with the other european teams that gathered to play Eurocup aswell, but it worked out pretty well in the end. They won their qualifier, moved into this year's EC and had some intense matches versus clans like Estonia idle.ee, Poland polewka, Europe Northern Darkness or Europe Team-Helix and whatnot, whether it was on Clanbase, Warleagues or in the ESL Spring-Cup whose Semifinal was shown on GiGa-eSports. Nevertheless it was not enough to ascend to the Playoffs.

Some of the guys lost their motivation because it was the last official game they had to play, they were sad that all the practise was not enough to get further in the cup and plain-talking it was the last big cup for months and practicing without something to practice for is simply not an option.

So biqq, by mutual consent of the other members, decided to close the squad."
