RtCW NationsCup

image: flags

The admin team that has brought you the RtCW-Cup series are planning to organise a NationsCup for over the summer months between the currently running RtCW-Cup IV and the next clan competition.

Currently the plan is to have a 3on3 and 6on6 competition, relaxed scheduling during the World Cup as we understand people will want to watch the football. Hopefully finishing up during August we currently have around 12-13 countries that want to compete in 6on6 and/or 3on3.

Nations List

If you wish to play please contact someone already in one of the Nations team lineups and get the join password - only join the team if you are available to play. Team members have been instructed not to hand the password out to random players.

More news will follow on format / schedule and such once the teams have filled up a bit - we hope to do this by the end of RtCW-Cup IV which should be finishing within the next week - so dont delay if you wish to play!

RtCW-Cup 4 Announced

Return to Castle Wolfenstein returns again in 2010 with the fourth edition of RtCW-Cup. It has been nearly 9 months since RtCW-Cup 3 with the release of 'Wolfenstein' bringing hope to rekindle a community, sadly it was not to be. Early XMAS Cup run by twister proved that people still want to play RtCW and we hope that continues over the coming months.

This edition of the cup sees the introduction of our website, www.RTCW-CUP.co.uk, as a source for your RtCW needs. It also sees the return of the 3on3 competition, based on sign ups, which we hope will improve the cups.

RtCW-Cup III

image: RtCW-Cup3

A formal announcement for RtCW-Cup 3 outlining our hopes and dreams for what could be another successful RtCW-Cup.

Past RtCW-Cup's have been well played, with few dropouts or forfeited games - something that we aim to continue going into this upcoming competition. Something that was lacking in past cups was real support, hosting or sponsorship - this has now changed with hosting brought to us by YCN-Hosting and great support from crossfire.

We also hope to announce some prizes, but this is yet to be finalised (also a small reason in the minor delay for the tournament) but we hope there will be something for all podium finishers in this edition.

RtCW-Cup 6on6 cup
The first round of games has ended with a packed schedule to come over the next two weeks. With WTV Likely to be on every night that games are played we can only hope that it will always be as thrilling as last nights game between GermanyHighbot and FinlandRapeus.

Germany ver1tas

vs.
Finland Rapeus[/b]]

Finland Sipperi
Finland Sirkka
Finland Uteoz

after a short delay with a slight misunderstanding on the game date - HighBot allowed them to use two mercs so this game did not get cancelled. HighBot secured the first two rounds to make it 2-0 on Frostbite - next with the newly converted Braundorf being played, Rapeus drew the scoreline up 2-2. Ice was the overtime map and both teams took one round making it 3-3 - then it went into sudden death where They Double full held before HighBot won the game with a 7minute time and defended it drawing this epic 2.5 Hour game to a close.

#RTCW-cup I Finishes

image: results

on 30th March 2008 crumbs made a post on crossfire to see what interest an RtCW-Cup would get - even he thought that the feedback would be small, and mainly negative. Less than a month later a 24-team 3o3 One-Day Cup and a 20-team 6o6 Double Elimination cup have now finished. With great feedback on how we could furthur the input in terms of organisation and coverage for this and future cups, we are proud to announce the winners of #RTCW-cup I.
