All good things must come to an end and so does this Dreamhack, the tournament featuring players from the very top and the upcoming challengers, the tournament filled with drama and upsets, and most importantly the greatest Quake action we've seen in a while. Av3k's time as the Dreamhack champion is now over as he among the three members of the elite four went down in the first round of the playoffs and Cypher being the only one to advance further and eventually reaching the final. In the final Cypher had to face DaHanG, an American underestimated by many. Cypher in three maps became the new king of Dreamhack although DaHanG certainly put up a good fight. For the third place we had two online rivals battling it out in a thrilling 5-mapper. K1llsen came out on top and strenx had to settle for the 4th place which in tournament with this level of competition is a great achievement.

Unlike Queen, four teams tonight will be anything but indolent, as e-WAVE will try to do the impossible and beat Team Dignitas in the EuroCup XXII Upper Bracket II playoffs. At the same time Stronger Than Hate have to beat the Polish based MVP in order to remain in the picture.

Two days ago we announced four tournaments on Esports Heaven, with a total of €6,000 in cash prizes for Counter-Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2 and Quake Live. I am talking, of course, about the Full Tilt Poker Challenge.
This is our biggest set of tournaments ever to take place on Esports Heaven since we launched the site in July 2009, and two of the tournaments are also the two biggest cash tournaments in their own right. Feedback from all Heaven Media websites has been amazing, and from external gaming sites all over Europe, but a number of comments here on Crossfire did make us think long and hard...

Impact vs mVp: A new rivalry?

So let me set the story for anybody living in a cave for the last couple of months..
Impact Gaming..
One of the top teams in ET right now, if not the top team (although the recently formed dignitas team will have something to say about that). Finished 2nd at AEF lan and decided to take in mAus after lan, they then managed to surprise everybody and beat the old dignitas team and unfortunately, we will never know who would have won out of Impact and Fintastic5 as they both shared the EC gold.
Most Valuable Players..
One of the most active teams in recent months. Team is built on two scotsman and three poles, but now with a fin and belgian playing some part in the team. mVp have shocked many with their results and were beating Impact 2-0 in EMS until the match got ddos'ed and Impact got given the forfeit win.
