Epsilon.CoD4 shuffle their lineup

image: 4After both the Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4 and Level7 LAN's respectively failed at the Finnish forces of Europe Epsilon, the team felt required to make a major lineup change in order to keep on participating on the upper level in the Call of Duty 4 scene, and stop disappointing themselves with bad results.

The team has dropped three of their Finnish players Finland dae, Finland ana and Finland jani, following the recent inactivity announcement of Finland Fix who has decided to step back from competitive gaming. These drops left the team behind with two players, Finland id3 and Finland sec.

In return, the team has picked up three players who surprisingly come from teams which are considered their rivals. The team has picked previous CS:S player Finland DEEMI who has previously performed for Finland Team Konna on the Level7 LAN. His skills are with no doubt expected to have an impact on the team.

The second player who will try to help the CoD4 team take over control in the scene is Finland konna. This too is a rather surprising move, since he previously played WC3 for MYM, and has fairly recently been introduced to the Call of Duty series.

The third player is Finland plaekki, who also performed on Level7 and this time rather succesfully considering he won the LAN together with his previous team Finland Logitech.fi. His experience on the top level is expected to take the team even further.

GALENSKAP Announced!

image: galenskap

Out of the ashes from Sweden One2 and Sweden bhstyle arises Sweden GALENSKAP, a newly formed Swedish CoD4-team with lots of talent. From the old One2 we have Sweden dohfOs and Sweden Keno, these two form GALENSKAP together with the bhstyle familiar faces Sweden Bele, Sweden LakOni and Sweden ado. With all of the players living rather close to each other they have great possibilities to meet and bootcamp and with their goals set on Europe and upcoming lans this is something they hope to take advantage of and in time be able to challenge the top contenders.

Statement by dohfOs, ingame leader:
Quote by www.galenskap.euStarting up GALENSKAP with these guys have been nothing but an enjoyable project. The mixture of people is just awsome and we're having a blast each day on voice comms. GALEN is consisting of such a huge variety of people with players coming from scenes such as CS1.6, BF1942, W:ET, CoD:UO and ET:QW and we believe that in the long run it's something we can take advantage of.

We're ofcourse aiming to become one of the better teams around but even though we're eager to get there we know we got some heavy work infront of us if we wanna succeed. With that in our mind, a strong will and a high potential in the team it's more a question of time rather then anything else. Once we're prepared enough you will see us attending LAN:s, and hopefully that won't take forever. So see you on the battlefield anytime soon.

Pigmod + ETQWPro

The team behind the most popular etqw mod to date have now recruited the creator of the etqw competition mod pigmod, no other than Canada Blaze. The ETQWPro team expect Blaze to bring manners into the team and we see it as a happy bonus if he decides to include some features. Rumors say that Blaze was once an army sergeant in Vietnam and that he killed 10 boars with his fists.

Aside from that Blaze is a major asset on all fronts and has already made his mark on the mod, bringing in lots of experience from both modding and creating games. Blaze has previously worked on mods such as reaction quake for quake 3.

This means the coding team now consist of Germany Hannes, Germany SpaceCommander, Germany th00ry and Canada Blaze.

With the two most successful competition mods for etqw now working together you can hardly imagine any limits! Stay tuned for big updates to come!
