Merry Christmas from 4k^nkm and ocr|CopyKill

No this isn’t a boring news post about what might have happened some hundred years ago, Christmas morning is now officially about frags and more frags. Its far from everyday a known player releases a movie and I cant remember last time two movies of this caliber was released on the same day. I might be on the road to salvation after all.
Germany CopyKill from the German powerhouse Germany Ocrana have released his first ETQW movie named “in raGe”. And a little to the west United Kingdom Four-Kings.etqw captain United Kingdom nkm have released his first frag movie ever and if you ever wondered how the world looks through a scope this is your chance. In the movie info field nkm writes this:
QuoteContains frags by myself from recent matches.
My first attempt at a fragmovie so be gentle!
But rest assured, he has been far from gentle with his targets.

image: header_wet

Today we see the former Netherlands Morrigu join team-ephix as their new ET squad. With the recently announced ESL Master Series and Crossfire's CDC4 LAN, this is likely to be one of more MGC's who will recruit ET teams over the next few weeks. The lineup consists of:

Netherlands Wesley "Wesbo" Sierhuis
Netherlands Esther "Kitty" Helling
Netherlands Ruben "joop" Van Hulst
Netherlands Peter "Domi" Valkeneer
Netherlands Raymond "LavOd" Bloemers
Netherlands Kiewan "Kiewan" Sanee

QuoteWe're very pleased to be joining team-ephix as their ET team. They've shown us they can offer us the support we're searching for and we hope to do well under their name. We're looking forward to competing in CDC, ESL Masters and other competitions.

QuoteI'm very glad to present our 2nd squad. After getting in contact with these guys I found out that they are very nice guys and have the potential to become one of the better ET teams. Together with our CoD4 team we will be visiting cdc4 and of course we hope to get as far as possible.

ET QCUP Finals

Its the last of the QCUP finals and it couldnt be any later in the night, but its good enough to keep you up all night! The Last Resort who are fresh from their win over name rivals aMenti take on Eurocup thrill seekers MPG who took apart ET legends Idle.

Europe TLR 2-4 Germany MPG
Time: 23:00 CET
ETTV: GamesTV.org
Shoutcast: QuadV w/ TosspoT

Its the second final in a week for MPG who came through against Idle in an efficient german performance, ground from their confidence in the Eurocup. Drago has not moved from the roof on frostbite in a week waiting for another group of pesky allies to shoot down, but TLR wont be easy targets. They swept aMenti aside and because of their quiet build up since forming they're not really fancied going into this competition, however they'll fancy their own ability to finish the job tonight.

ESL Cup Series Final

After the ESL hosted two qualification Cups for the German ET:QW teams we've slowly come to an end. Twenty teams were fighting for a spot in the Final and tonight it will be Germany Team SPEED-LINK, coming from the Winnerbracket, versus Germany eGamespoint, coming from the Lowerbracket.

The match will be live at 21:00 CET and eGp has to beat SPEED-LINK two times in a row, to grab the 1st place in that cup, including the following prizes:

1. Place: 6 x Raptor-Gaming M2 Platinum Gaming Mouse & 3 Months ESL Premium Account
2. Place: 6 x Raptor-Gaming P3 Mousepad & 2 Months ESL Premium Account
3. Place: 1 Month ESL Premium Account

CDC4 Revisions

CDC4 will be running the following adventurous tournament format for the event now just a little over 2 months away! We've a new sponsor that allows us to increase capacity significantly which will be announced in January, however the resulting logistics have cost us somewhat, hense a lower redistribution from the original outset.

Wolf ET - 16 Teams - 3000 Euro
ET:Quakewars - 12 Teams - 3000 Euro
Warsow 16 Players - 600 Euro

War§ow QCUP - Finals

image: v4

Thats right folks, the War§ow Steamer has arrived at Finals station. The following three days will sport 3 more games for this cup. First off there are the semi-finals, directly followed by the finals themselves.

Thats right, you didn't misread, we're going to have the last 3 games back to back of eachother in a virtual orgy of Deathmatch.

Semi-Finals

Four people have qualified for the final rounds.

Germany BoBel
Finland Hyrveli
Poland Vicek
Netherlands Jann1s

The games will start at 18:00 CET / 5:00 GMT and will continue untill we have a winner.

QuadV will be bringing full coverage of all three games Live from start to finish which will definatly include audio and maybe video (depending on stability and availibilty)

This comes down to the following games;

Germany BoBel vs Finland Hyrveli

An absolute killer of a match. These two players are the Av3k and Toxic of War§ow, two absolute monsters when it comes to the game. BoBel being an absolute master of the Laser Gun and has the ability to pry the win out of anyones grasp. Hyrveli being only 16 years old and already one of the best players that this games has seen, dethrowning some of the oldskool players.

Be sure to keep your eyes on this one folks, it's going to be MONSTEROUS!

Poland Vicek vs Netherlands Jann1s

An interesting matchup, Jann1s the underdog this tournament managing to beat his way through Jebak in the quarters he has proved himself a worth opponent for Victim, and what can I say; Everyone loves the underdog. Victim however has proven himself over and over in the past, constantly contesting BoBel for the War§ow championship belt.

Another game to keep your eye one, will Jann1s pull of the surprise of the tournament? Or will the old garde reclaim his place?

Final

However they are going to be, it goes without saying that this will be one of the best games of War§ow that will ever be played online, one day you will say to the new players that you saw that epic game, the battle of the two biblical beasts.

Be sure to tune into the game. Updates about time and place will follow.

CoD4 QCUP - Grand Final - EYE wins

image: v4

The time draws nigh, the Grand Final of the Crossfire QCUP Call of Duty 4 tournament is upon us! It is January 15th, 1807 and the first Napoleonic War is raging through Europe. The France French army launched an offensive towards Pomerania and are laying siege to the Swedish city of Sweden Strahlsund. However after a fierce battle that lasted nearly three months the Swedes were reinforced and defeated the 15.000 men strong French Army. The Swedish powerhouse Sweden EYE are clearly the favourites in this modern day encounter, but will they will be able to pull off a similar feat against the strong and unpredictable France oXmoze?

QuadV will be bringing you the grand final match of Sweden EYE against France oXmoze LIVE on Friday, December 21st at 8:30 GMT / 21:30 CET! United Kingdom Jay & TosspoT will be providing a live low resolution video stream (to solve the stability issue) including audio and VOD!

Once again we asked Sweden EYE|mintr and France oXmoze-vazy to share their thoughts with the community.

Pentagram pickup CoD4 team

image: pgs-logo-headPolish powerhouse Pentagram, famed for their CS glories that won ESWC and WCG have today picked themselves up an all Polish CoD4 team and add the weight of their reputation to the game.

Their recruitment was somewhat unlikely as they've picked up an untested lineup rather than one of the established Polish teams that were available to them.

The new Polish lineup is as follows;

Poland baal
Poland huron
Poland juzek
Poland pogo
Poland scandal
Poland Verpa
Poland zoom

zoom carries the biggest reputation of the side with a notable history in Q3 CPM, though the rest of the side will be looking to build their reputations in CoD4.

ET QCUP - Final stage

image: v4

After a thrilling semi final yesterday, we finally know the two teams that will battle for glory in the Crossfire ET Qcup.

The German sided Germany MPG took a well deserved victory over Estonia idle.ee while Europe The Last Resort had their hands full with a very strong Europe aMenti.

Adlernest proved again how thrilling – a 'lotto' map – can be. Only 10 seconds left when England Sheep went solo. It was the last chance to get those documents transmited and without any backup of his teammates, he ran for his life. Some seconds later his judgement was rewarded because the TLR side came out of nowhere to eliminate the remaining aMenti peons. Carried by Toss’ extraordinary last 10 sec of shoutcasting, he brought home victory with only 4 seconds left on the clock. Game over for aMenti. Another great game to watch.

Semi-Finals
Germany MPG 4:0 idle.ee Estonia
Europe TLR 4:0 aMenti Europe

Final
Germany MPG vs TLR Europe

Malta toxic
Netherlands teKoa
Netherlands perfo
England Sheep
Finland Squalli
Finland Iron

Germany keran
Germany drago
Germany wEAK
Germany butchji
Germany snoop
Croatia aCoZz

Final Grid

The final is still unscheduled but we’ll keep you guys up2date.
Hopefully, we get some firework to end this great ET year in style!

Good luck both!

Cheers,
Rfki

His first Match for SL could be the upcoming game versus Germany eGamespoint on Sunday, which is the Grand final of the ESL Cup Series. ( Matchlink )
