The deadline has now passed and the judges are locked in a room hard at work to decide their favourite movie from a beautiful batch of entrants!
I was very impressed by the volume of entries we received and by the time and effort people put into these, it has certainly opened my eyes to exploring such things in the future here on Crossfire and people suggestions for more contests with prizes are more than welcome.

ClanBase ET EuroCup XIV group C is the closest ever seen in an EC group. So close, in fact, that it's tied for second place, with Fear Factory, sFx Murso and Incomplete all having one win and two losses, with a round difference of -4.
Tonight will see a battle royale as the tiebreaker matches to decide the final outcome of this group and the team that will go through to the playoffs as the second team from group C, after idle.ee, are played. These tiebreaker games will be played on a single map, chosen by combining the map preferences of the teams playing - this map will be the ET stalwart of radar!
First up we see the battle of the Finns, with sFx Murso taking on Incomplete. The first time round this matchup was won by Murso. Perhaps more importantly it was also Murso who took radar in that game, but it was by no means a secure victory and with it all on the line, anything could happen this time.
The second matchup of the evening will see Fear Factory take on the loser of sFx vs Incomplete at 21:00 CET, while the third and final game of the night at 21:30 CET will see Fear Factory against the winner of the first match to decide the group once and for all.
The greatest lan event on the planet has announced its 2007 unprecedently early! Not that the date itself is any earlier but Quakecon does appear to be geared up to blow our minds once again. Whether it was iNfensus versus cK in 2002, GMPO versus Affliction in 2003, Idle versus u5 in 2005 or Crossfire versus KiH in 2006, Quakecon has always warmed the hearts of mp40 bearing souls.
The Hilton Anatole was a hugely popular venue with the players last event in comparisson to the Gaylord ranch, its location is right along the same street as many other hotels and just 5 minutes taxi from downtown Dallas.
Dutch multigaming clan suXus eSports, possibly known by you for their CoD2 team who ended third at the Netgamez and is also active in the Call of Duty 2 EuroCup, has decided to make a surprising move towards the Enemy Territory scene by adding the Estonian powerhouse Oxygen.ET to the organisation.
Very unexpected one man might say, and well suXus itself tells us that they have been looking for an ET team in the past few weeks. The head of management of suXus L3oN had the following to say:
We were looking for an Enemy Territory team because we have seen a lot of attention for the game lately, with LANs like the crossfire LAN, ETTV, large community sites we feel competitive Enemy Territory is at the point of reaching another level, and we want to be part of this change, that’s we started looking for a team in the game. We have considered a few teams, primary we were looking for Dutch teams only but I guess competitive gaming in The Netherlands is dominated by Counter-Strike and Call of Duty, so we started to look outside The Netherlands for teams from Belgium and other country’s close around.. The search didn’t really work well. A few days ago however we got in contact with a Enemy Territory team playing in the premier levels of Enemy Territory. The team was called Oxygen.ET and they were about to leave their current multigaming clan because of an inactive management. After some long talks we decided that Oxygen.ET would be the perfect team to represent us in the Enemy Territory scene..
Turn on your alarm clock, grab a bowl of Corn Flakes and skip the Hollyoaks omnibus - today is the GameArena Season 8 Grand Final !
Can Adversus follow up their minor premiership and become the first team to take back-to-back GA ET titles. Will Modus Operandi take revenge after their season 7 falter, and show us why they've been a stalwart of ET over the years? We'll find out this Sunday!
In the GA ET grand final, both teams nominate a map of their choice. The first team to take two rounds on a map wins the map, and teams must win two maps to take the title. If both teams take a map each, the match will move on to the tie-breaker map. Adversus have nominated SW Goldrush TE, while Modus Operandi have chosen Supply Depot. The tie-breaker map is Beach.
Gamestah's Ej & BoB will be calling their eighth consecutive GA final, and there will be hundred of ETTV slots available in order to watch the action.
