After yesterday's exciting game of Cave vs KiH we can finally leave the group stage behind and move on to the playoffs and the consolation bracket.

KiH take on Cave in a crucial groupstage match that was rearranged from before Christmas. There is a chance that, if the result goes a certain way, Cave may have to replay a game against rusty as they will sit on exactly the same points, rounds won and rounds lost. one.more Cup #9 takes place tonight as 13 teams battle it out for supremacy! Only one team can leave with the win though and you can watch the later rounds on twitchtv as they are streamed by WarwitchTV. games are already underway and we should see some great match ups.

With ESL dropping support for ET in May and ClanBase shutting down entirely last month, teams were left with no competitive ladders to participate in. By simply taking a quick look at the GamesTV match schedule, it is obvious that the lack of a ladder system is rather detrimental to the activity level of our beloved game. However, thanks to some help from timbolina, I was able to get in contact with a CoD4 league who is interested in providing the ET community with ladders and more.

The Alliance Cup plays a bit of catch up over the next few days with some games that were unable to take place before Christmas being played. Tonight we have a replay of a previously broadcasted game in which gMen (formerly known as National Owners) faked a player on their roster, using a multi-time busted cheater instead with most of the team being unaware.
