New Management!

The time has come to do something different with Crossfire, time to recognise that this community may be better served by someone else with the keys to the car. As of today I am glad to announce that the brotherly duo of MerlinatoR & Artstar will become the new supreme commanders of Crossfire as I step into the background.

Planetside2 - MMOFPS perfected?

For those of you who have been reading my columns for many years now you'll remember many a harp string plucked for the concept of MMOFPS. All born out of thorough enjoyment from Planetside 1 I've looked to games like Global Agenda as the solution with fleeting success, in fact the closest I've come to similar enjoyment was from Battlefield 3. Now Planetside 2 is nearing release and the dream might just be realised.

Interview with vila *UPDATE*

The overload ET side were busted on Friday for using hacks. The side came 3rd at CDC4 and have been an ever present force at the Crossfire events, I caught up with vila to find out why overload gambled their ET futures away.

Straight to the point, Having played for so long and worked your way up the ranks, why do this?

Coffee with Okla

One of Hollands most lovable RTCW characters Okla moved from RTCW into Call of Duty 1 back in the day. After a successful stint in CoD1, Okla was banished to Azeroth with a number of both CoD and RTCW allstars. Finally he has fought his way out of that hideous place and has picked up his SMG again, he tells Crossfire about his struggle!

Firstly - The Introduction, who are you and where did u come from!

Quake Allstars

Whilst sitting on the lovely GGL couch at Quakecon 2007 I was lucky enough to have Europes Quake allstars sit down next to me and I just happened to to pop open and Crossfire and steal the oppourtunity to catch a word with them.

Purri, What are your thoughts on Quakewars where are you playing a bit for FOE

Dignitas before Quakecon

I caught up with the Dignitas side on briefly Ventrilo before their final night of practicing for Quakecon. Tommorow they head for Dallas, Jak will be lucky enough to be mobbed by the press (me) at London Gatwick Airport tommorow! This is a collective interview with, SonDac, Frop, Huggo, utr, bjorn

Why did you lose twice to one2?

ODEE - The most powerful man on Crossfire

Once upon a time he used to play RTCW for top UK side Lemmings, now he manages teams in almost every game on the competitive scene! With his Quakewars, ET and Call of Duty squads some might just say that Dignitas manager ODEE is the most powerful man on Crossfire! Lets see what he has to say;

Hello ODEE, let me get rid of the stock question first! Please could you tell me a little bit about yourself and Dignitas:

Being aCoZz

From Goliath to Northern Darkness and a Eurocup final, onto aMenti and TLR and in with a realistic chance of success at CPC2. Croatia's aCoZz has been on a long and winding road to become Croatia's leading light in Wolfenstein, so lets dig and find out what makes this lovable character tick!

Former Powerhouse Darkie

Once upon a time Denmark was represented at the highest level of Wolfenstein, with Darkie one of the most fanboyyed men in the game. He was an impact player who was on the tips of everyones lips, however after the dizzy heights of Dignitas he vanished like many a pro before him. Find out his story, filled with sex, drugs and rock and roll this is one tabloid shocker!

Galahad'ing

I caught up with former Idle manager and Quakecon 2005 bronze medalist Galahad. The man that successfully guided Idle to glory and raised many an eyebrow as he aided shipping of Estonians to Texas, not once but twice has many questions surrounding his departure from the gaming circuit, its time to find out the answers.

Since the Crossfire lan, nobody has seen Galahad, where did you go?
