Top Seed: Team WinFakt!
Team WinFakt have improved immensly over the last 12 months, with the addition of Baggiez late last season the team seemed to improvie drastically. Weither it was because he was the missing ingredient, they felt more of a team with him in it or him annoying opponents in open chat, whatever it is they have had a slight edge over a lot of teams.
Baggiez
dialer
perfo
teKoa
wiaderko
The lineup consists of LAN veterans with players who have consistently finished in the top 5 positions at events. Baggiez comes into the team and this will be the first LAN where he will be part of a team that has a very good chance to place in the top3.
Player to watch: teKoa
teKoa is one of the most idolised players currently playing Enemy Territory, his aiming ability alone has seen many fans turn up on ETTV to witness what some call 'perfection' as he is seen as one of the best pistol aimers the game has ever seen. LAN is a place which normally most people will drop in aim skill but it does not seem to affect the Dutchman and this gives him a huge individual advantage over his opponents.
Game Changer: perfo
perfo is a good all-round player and at times his aim can make him unstoppable. He seems to get sprees and multifrags when no one else can and they make a lot of difference on the outcome of games. Although his performance will not be relied on in such a talented lineup it could give his team a great boost in the bigger match ups.
WinFakt will aim for top spot at the event, as this team is very amibitious, but they may have to settle for less with a lot of teams going for gold. A Top 3 position is on the cards and will come down to performances on the day with those of dialer and wiaderko being very important depending on the map.
High Seed: Team Dignitas
Team Dignitas need no introductions, consisting of multi Quakecon winners and Crossfire Champions they also added last years AEF event to their long list of achievements. Although recently the team has gone through some major lineup changes, even if all familair faces, this seems to have had a negative effect on their pre-LAN performances.
Anderson
drago
Jakazc
Night
sQUALL
The lineup has played together for a long time, and although recently adding Night and Jakazc back to the roster for this event the team seems a bit rusty compared to previous events, and this showed in the seeding tournament where they will be dissapointed with a poule 2 finish.
Player to watch: Anderson
Expectancy will weigh heavily on Dignitas in this event and no more so than on Anderson who will pretty much have to carry his team through as much as he can, it is rare that such a team would rely on any single player but the performances of late have been so poor it could all be down to how he plays.
Game Changer: Night
Even if rusty, Night will still show atleast some glimpses of why he is nicknamed Mr. ET with his simplistic style of play making everything look far too easy - in recent weeks the skill has been slowly improving since his year out in the army but he is a player that does not get affected by the big games, if anything he thrives in them.
Team Dignitas should never be underatted, and this event a lot of people will write them off - but a team that consistently performs well at LAN events and never gives up, it would be foolish to question their abilities. They will battle for a Top4 position, but I feel Top spot may be a bridge too far without drastic increase in performance.
Mid Seed: Team Refuse
Team Refuse narrowly missed out on a second poule spot for the seeds and will be disappointed with the teams they have drawn in the group stage. They are my favorites to make it to the final of the consolation tournament as they have a good mix of players who have aim, experience and spam collectively.
Green_clon
L4mpje
malfoy
potty
Ronner
Team features some nice experience in Ronner as well as aim in Green_clon and L4mpje. potty will provide the rifle spam while malfoy brings a bit of balance to the team.
Player to watch: Green_clon
Czech sensation Green_clon will leave his lag at home but bring his aim to LAN! And his team will surely need it against two of the best teams in the competition to play against in the group stage - could an upset be on the cards? time will tell.
Low Seed: wnbpro
Ekto
FimS
oLGaa
RAMOZ
pds
The lineup was recently completed with the addition of pds after he was removed from the epic eSports lineup.
Player to watch: FimS
FimS will look to not replicate former glories of massive team killing panzer shots at LAN, but his LAN experience could be key for this team in what is likely to be a conolsation bracket position.
The team had some lineup issue in the last few weeks but was finally confirmed last week. the team features a mix of players from across europe who will hope to do some damage and have some fun over the weekend.
