About the soft and the toy

image: ipsAfter some great matches done on sunday and monday, its going to the final and last playday in the ESL IPS First Stage. Afterwards we are going into a final league where we will find our winner!

After the drop out by Czech Republic nAkAshi, a new team recently joined with the name Europe pingwins. With their first match tonight, the way is open for this team to prove themself.
The German team Germany Stofftiere Online already lost in a close match versus Italy n1ce.it and has to win this tonight if they want to get a chance to be in the IPS final stage. I was able to catch Germany noorgrin for a small statement and prediction on tonights match:
QuoteDue to the fact that we lost 2-4 vs n1ce.it last week, we have to win today if we want to keep the chance for the 2nd IPS stage alive. Pingwins managed to reach the last Clanbase Eurocup quarterfinals (as Team-Maybe), so we are aware it will be a hard match. We hope to win Frostbite like we did vs n1ce.it and maybe we are a little luckier in the decider map this time :-) 4-2 to SFTO hopefully :-)

Check out the rankings and the details for the upcoming match.

Yet another day!

image: ipsThe russian team of Russia Violence is Bad is going to face oceans6's new squad. With a long and stable history, ViB is the favorite to win this match tonight. But o6 will have the chance to prove that the imposible is possible. No special luck and tactics will come up on the glory maps SW Goldrush TE and Radar.

Not less interesting, this will be the match of Poland FearFactory and Belgium cZar Gaming. While cZar is able to make it in the next stage, FF have to try their best to win this and the upcoming match against rY to make it to the final league. Again, the maps SW Goldrush and Radar will decide it for the teams.

[img|left]http://www.webstylestudio.de/xfire/icons/esl.jpg[/img]As official Match of The Night the ESL brings you some hot German action with the final match of the German Summer Cup, formerly known as German IPS Qualifier: The teams of Helix and Highbot. Both are still very new teams and are very ambitious to capture the flag as best German team.
At 23 CET, you will see the replay of this match on GIGA 2 with noone else than your very own FlyingDJ.

IPS action incoming!

image: ipsYet another Sunday with some hot action is flying on your monitor with the finest ETTV action!
As topmatch of this sunday night the participants of the CPC will face each other in this online competition again. While one team was able to stay together, Estonia idle.ee had some lineup changes since the LAN event was over. Belgium sFx.LAN get the chance to prove their quality and ambition tonight without bugs on SW Goldrush TE and Radar.
The second top match in group A will be Croatia elite facing Europe HighBot who presented their new homepage yesterday night when they overpowered Italy n1ce.it on GIGA with a mess of strong attacks and a hard defense. Both teams lost in their first match and have to get the win if they want to participate in the final stage.
As third match on ETTV the polish power of Poland diversus is on the way to face the German team of Germany roYality on SW Goldrush and Braundorf B4.
It's quite bad all matches will come up at 21 CET and therfore, the forth match joining our seats 30 mins later won't get a spot on ETTV which doesn't makes it less interesting.
With Europe aMenti playing against the Czech qualified team of Czech Republic infrag, we are going to decide if one team get a secure slot in the playoffs or if the Czech team is going to make the impossible happend with a win.

GIGA with Quake4 and ET - Live!

Tonight, yet another time our beloved Enemy Territory is making it's way to the big wide screen on your home TV. But even more is coming, on preparations of the upcoming release of ET:Quake Wars in eray 2007, GIGA will cast Quake 4 with the first of some matches of a new and abmitious event: The Swedish National League. If you are interested in one of those games feel forced to tune in GIGA tonight and watch some hot FPS action!

Good morning, vietnam!

Before something is going to die, you have to do your best to revive it and to keep it alive and kickin'. After a night is gone when everyone had enough time to think about 5on5, it's now going to get in it's final decision.

Neither WL or CB came up to us before this was announced, therefore, we will stay with the majority of the community, even if it can change everyday.

[img|left]http://www.webstylestudio.de/xfire/icons/cb.jpg[/img]There are currently no valid reasons given for changing our beloved game to a lower player amount just because someone thinks he's the boss out there. We, as the ESL, tested the 5on5 stuff in january with our 5on5 3-days-left cup.
The sTREETFIGHTERS gained the first place by beating riZe. Now, clanbase announced there very own game mode according to the change, warleagues followed.

The community gave the clanbase the power with this vote.
But also, the community made different votes against 5on5 - Overall the result was quite easy: 3 votes on crossfire and everytime over 60% against 5on5 in the last 2 months.

As result of this and the history of 5on5 in the ESL and on crossfire (columns, articles and much more in the end of 2005 / early 2006), we have decided to not follow the clanbase and making this game 5on5 without any background or valid reasons.

[img|left]http://www.webstylestudio.de/xfire/icons/esl.jpg[/img]
The ESL is not concerned with forcing the leagues or tournaments to the 5on5 size. Therefore all future events like the present International Premiership Series will stay in the 6on6 team size.

You can change our decision, of course. That is why a new poll was created because your opinion counts.

[*] Feel free to place your vote. [*]
For 5on5 or 6on6 in the ESL.
ET-Cup vote

image: cupsAlso, other leagues announced they will stay at 6on6 as long as the community wants it. It's on you to decide for the last time, after sleeping over the decision by ClanBase and Warleagues to take 5on5 for ET. If not, these leagues and cups will support you playing 6on6:

Finishing the first week!

image: ipsAgain it's time to bring you some hot chicks playing in hot dress! With the topmatch of Poland FearFactory facing the new lineup of Europe dMiZE the first decision will come up in group C. The loser of this match has to overpower urtier's favorite for this group Belgium cZar to get in the next stage. While the European team around mesqi has to beat the Czech qualifier Czech Republic infrag.
As third and last match tonight the German team of Germany roYality has to prove themself by facing one of the stable teams in ET: Latvia Violence is Bad.

Later this night GIGA2 and our very own FlyingDJ will bring you an awesome showmatch with the teams of the EuroCup XIII final and their new lineups. Estonia idle.ee and Europe dMiZE will meet each others again to present the abilities of the ESL IPS First Stage to GIGA.

In addition to this, the ESL ist still looking for a replacer. If you are interested in participating in the IPS, this is your last chance to join our tournament while one team is maybe on the way to quit. Contact and admin in #esl.et for more information.
