Latest Enemy Territory transfers - 2nd Edition!

image: transfers

One week has passed and with the BFB2 tournament as well as the next CB EuroCup approaching we have some interesting transaction in our image: et Enemy Territory scene and same as last week I will do a summary of all the player transfers and new teams I heard of.

Let`s just start with one of the most shocking news I`ve heard of: Queens are not going to the upcoming ET Masters lan. A little bird told me that chry will move from Queens to Europe NBS - atleast for the offline tournament in Weesp. Whether it is because of razz not willing to go or butchji still undecided this is a really sad news for the lan competition because Queens were my own favorite to give Anexis a hard fight. Nevertheless NBS will take the profit. With chry in their lan lineup their chances for a top finish suddenly bursts.

Latest Enemy Territory transfers!

Some years ago Germany gambit took a view on the latest player additions as well as all the new teams popping up each season and wrote down a more ironic summary than a basic finding of facts. With the upcoming ET Masters lan, BFB2 and the soon to be started Euro/OpenCup I want to do something similar thus I collected interesting information from known teams and players and wrote down a short wall of text about the newest transfers and player events.

Today's top ET games!

With the upcoming CB EuroCup and the Adroits ET Masters the image: et Enemy Territory teams have to wake up from hibernation and get back to their old shape or proof what they are worth off in case of a new team formation and the best opportunity to do so is the newly introduced #et.tourney hosted by Poland fanatic. The Polish countryman has created a tournament for 48 teams divided into 12 groups and with tonight`s evening coming closer and closer we will see at least two first class games broadcasted by GamesTV.org.

Tuesday ESL 3v3 ET Games!

image: et1
By heading over to GamesTV.org the schedule for today seems very drowsy but with a closer look one will discover two very interesting ESL Winter League 3v3 playoff games with 1 of them being a "make-or-break" clash.
The first game I want to talk about is the winner bracket match between Europe randomZ and Netherlands Mouse Control. According to the ESL site both teams have won their first round games without any problems but tonight they will face new circumstances and after the sunset just one can advance. Personally I would bet my money on the all Dutch lineup consisting of three top players but we should never underestimate the new up and coming talent mental as well as one of the more known Belgian players chry and the "pracc hard go pro" player razz.

Next up is the above mentioned make-or-break game between Europe Queens and Europe wiSe-guys. I am sure that during the group games a lot of people have voted for Queens taking home the cup victory but with beeing beaten by mCon the are on the skids. By comparing the lineups on GamesTV it seems nearly impossible to predict a clear winner and with Artstar, phyZiC, stexx or sqzz playing for the Queens side their final lineup isn`t sure yet. Regardless of which plays it will not become a walk in the park for zMk, hunter and fanatic - that`s guaranteed!

Fervent Sunday ET Games!

image: coverage
Sunday evening treats us to what will hopefully be some high quality Enemy Territory action as the first lower round of the 6v6 ESL Winter League playoffs gets underway and the 2v2 winner bracket continues. Kicking things off early are the ambitious Germans Germany credibilis who take on the all French lineup Belgium Wolf Crazy Killers. Although this is a 2v2 game and some might say that`s not what Enemy Territory is about I would still keep an eye on it since we can see some nice aiming machines trying to get their two versus two trophy.

Clashing at roughly two hours later are Finland CodeLust and Europe Zero Empathy, the "new" home of inteRaction. Both teams claimed defeats in the upper playoffs and they really have to establish a superb performance - the one to be a bit under the weather will get no mercy and consequently leave the most attractive competition at the moment.

The Library_b2 cup is underway and with 10 teams participating we do have our tournament rolling. Currently the Round 2 games are starting and the semi finals with ETTv should start within the next 30 minutes!

Last week brought us two great ETTv showmatches played on a new map called " Library " and Austria BlAcky is currently working on a second beta with some bug fixing and smaller adjustments especially for the second- and last stage. This new version will be released within the next 48 hours and used for the upcoming Library_b2 tournament taking place this Thursday, 16th February right at 20.00 CET. In case you dont know the map feel free to download it and take a walk-through.

Fast-paced ET action tonight!

image: 3

Yesterday we have seen many deciding CB NationsCup matches with all games ending in a clear 4:0 on paper. But I have watched some maps and can say that some fights were really exciting and some underdogs were nearly able to get it to a 3rd map. Unfortunately the cherry on top was absent and thus we do have 13 out of 16 playoff teams in the front line and tonight will bring us another contestant either Italy Italy or Austria Austria. The match is played on Adlernest and sw_goldrush_te but this clash is made for a decider map although the odds on GamesTV are at the moment in favor of Team Italy. Both teams got excellent aimers and long time players like Xylos or potter and besides one can find some up and coming talents like Stevji or joey to name just a few. Head over to our partner site and save the ETTv-IP to tune in right at 22.00 CET to not miss this challenging match!

Additionally we will have another great match on our radar. The team looking to act out Czech Republic Czech in tonights second clash are the players of Brazil Brazil. The game should start at the same time but with different maps. Radar and Missile are forced and even though the Czech Republic is already qualified the Brazil comrades will try to keep their heads by winning their last game or at least one map!

Big Sunday Clash!

image: 7ejbiuan

As every Sunday the GamesTV.org schedule is full of fast-paced Enemy Territory action and with 22 games to be played this evening I am more than sure that everybody will find his very own favorite game to watch. I will write a short summary about some of the more interesting games concerning the CB NationsCup rankings and you can find all necessary information plus some player predictions below this text. The first game I want to talk about is the fight between Croatia Team Croatia and Russia Team Russia in the 3rd Matchweek of the current CB NationsCup XV. Both teams are playing in Group D and both have already played against Australia and UK just with a fine difference - Croatia was able to beat the Aussie`s with 4:2 and thus they are still able to proceed to the playoff brackets. So in case Croatia is able to win their match against Russia and Team UK wins against Australia later tonight Croatia will go through but I am sure that old Pistols veteran slaw and his teammates will prevent danL and frozz from having an easy walk in the park.
