Vote ET for PC Gamer's Top 100

The UK based PC Gamer magazine if hosting another annual event for the Top 100 PC Games of all time. Last year, Enemy Territory reached #69 in the charts with minimal advertisement from Splash Damage. ET:QW failed to reach the Top 100. image: pcgameruslWith the help of the Crossfire community, ET will surely climb higher in the ladder this time round. This is a rare opportunity to get ET recognized once again, competing against a few legendary PC titles, such as Mafia, Cysis, Counter-Strike and the CoD series.

Please take a few minutes to cast your vote. The steps are simple

1.) Register with PC Gamer
2.) Check your email and confirm your account
3.) Vote ET first
4.) Add 4 other games
5.) Click "Submit Your Votes!"

Note: The 0% means PC Gamer has not given ET a review since it is a 2003 game.

rockit.ET adds Meez

The buildup for the ET's Top CIC7 hasn't gone to plan this season. Many teams have made controversial decisions that have resulted in a complete lineup collapse, whilst others have been completely unstable, bringing an almost fresh lineup to the table every other week.

Speaking of which, rockit.ET have been in a slight lineup muddle themselves over the past month. Finnish superstar Finland Matias left the Germany rockit.ET team for a place at United States of America Blight Gaming, whilst Finland olBaa's uncertain LAN attendance has resulted in him leaving the team and rejoining within a matter of days. Latvia Clown was quick to snatch the Italian rifle legend Italy XyloS as an arguably "better" replacement.image: picture-13However, Finland olBaa has finally decided to leave the Germany rockit.ET team as his uncertain LAN attendance has gotten the better of him. Germany rockit.ET were quick to their feet once again and grabbed the highly ranked UK star United Kingdom Meez to add another powerful aimer to their lineup, alongside the Belgian rager Belgium mAus.

Germany rockit is hosting a show match for their ET team next week, where you can watch their new lineup in action against Europe Phantom eSports

BRINK Video Round-up

image: newbrinhn

Further gameplay videos revealing the mysteries of Brink have been appearing all over the internet since Sainted's original gameplay news item. If you haven't been keeping an eye on the journals and comments, now is a time for you to catch up with everything Brink.

Important notes: Richard Ham (Rahdo on Crossfire) has been commenting on the Splash Damange forums stating that there have been a lot of changes to Brink. All these videos are "really old" to a point where it is "painful" for Splash Damage themselves to watch. Read the quotes below for further information.

EC Winners to dethrone MASCULINE MANS?

image: cbecxxkdk

Tonight, Europe EC Winners are set to take on Finland MASCULINE MANS for the first time in an official match this season. The European powerhouse Europe EC Winners have won all 9 of their previous official matches, completely dominating this seasons EuroCup XX and ESL Major Series V. With high expectations from Europe EC Winners, the pressure is really mounting on the Finnish EuroCup XIX champions Finland MASCULINE MANS to hold their reigning title as the EuroCup champions. However, Finland MASCULINE MANS have also had an impressive run this season winning 7 out of 8 of their official matches, with only an unexpected loss against Europe nOu way. The odds are in Europe EC Winners favour with 1.82 - 2.23

Brink at Eurogamer Expo

image: newbrinhn

The Eurogamer Expo kicked of in London today, and it's Brink all round - unexpectedly. For the first time ever, Brink was unveiled to the public by Splash Damage's very own CEO, Paul Wedgwood. On a first-come first-served basis, a few lucky Londoners were able to gain a seat for the Brink developer session - one of whom, Peter C. a gaming journalist for TheSixthAxis.com. Unfortunately, media recording was strictly forbidden so there will not be any gameplay footage for us to see. However, Peter C summed up everything nicely to give us a good idea of what Brink feels like and how much it relates to RtCW and ET. There are several promising quotes from the article which follow in this newspost, including a nice little summary for each one.

EMS Thursday

image: esl3curve

A light can be seen at the end of the tunnel for this season's ClanBase EuroCup XX, whereas the ESL Major Series V is just finishing the qualifying stages - the teams continue to battle it out to earn a place in the EMS Final Stage. In tonight's match, we will see the European ragers Europe GLITZ-ESPORTS take on the Finnish powerhouse and EuroCup reigning champions Finland mASCULINE_MANS. A few lineup problems for Europe GLITZ-ESPORTS has seriously taken its toll, with a few loses and close calls that should have clearly been in their reach without any problems. Their manager, Netherlands saKen, recently left the team after conflicts with his fellow players. Poland zMk was quick to snap up his position, but is it a little too late? Finland mASCULINE_MANS still has their golden teamplay with their reliable and constant lineup. The odds are in their favour with 14.60 - 1.07, however with a few recent bumpy seasons for ET we all know too well that anything can really happen on the day!

Smashing Sunday

image: cbecxxkdk

Glitz Revived, Take on invitium

image: esl3curve

After a few lineup hiccups, Europe Glitz-eSports are back to ET with...well, a rather familiar lineup. After a few discussions, it seems they finally got their act together and stuck together - kind of. Netherlands saKen is out and the rest remain put. Polish rager Poland Templar has been added to the lineup, along with the well known Dutch player Netherlands Leonneke.

Tonight, however, we will see Europe Glitz-eSports play with a rather familiar lineup, except Poland Templar with replace Netherlands saKen. Last month, we saw Poland invitium take on Europe Glitz-eSports in the EuroCup XX Qualifiers. As expected, Poland invitium were thrashed 4-0 in a one sided match. Can they repeat history without their ex-clan leader, Netherlands saKen? The odds are in their favour again with 1.15 - 7.59, but we all know too well a simple lineup change can turn the tables. Result? Expect the unexpected!

Tonight, in another round of exciting matches, United Kingdom Team-YoYoTech take on Europe asd in an epic battle for a place in the final stages of this seasons ClanBase EuroCup XX. This match was meant to be played 9 days ago, however United Kingdom Team-YoYoTech used a wildcard in the few final minutes before the match - Netherlands ins was on holiday and Belgium dAv1d was unavailable. As expected, the odds are still in United Kingdom Team-YoYoTech's favour with 1.38 - 3.65 - but this is ET, so expect the unexpected again!

D*ckheads Return for TAG

image: esl3curve

After 2 and a half years of inactivity, Finland D*ckheads have returned to the ET scene with a fresh new lineup - a potentially threatning lineup to to their opponent tonight. Finland D*ckheads' lineup conists of familar faces - faces which have achieved some of the highest awards in the game. EuroCup, CDC - you name it, they have it.

So, what does this mean for Europe TAG tonight? So far, Europe TAG have played several official mathes together with the same lineup, and have achieved desirable and welcome results for their team. I think it's fair to say they have a slight advantage over Finland D*ckheads tonight in terms of conscious teamplay. Both sides consist of experieced players whom are fairly equal in strength, so it seems likely that Europe TAG will take tonight's match with aid from their slight advantage. However, the GamesTV.org community marginally disagrees. The odds are in Finland D*ckhead's favour with 1.79 - 2.26. On the other hand, neither team has seen each other perform, and after all, it's ET, so expect the unexpected!
