In The Crossfire: The First Edition 10 / 07

image: header
The time has passed when every single Crossfire News was just about a new game. So let's get to the point where we can talk about who needs such a thing and what ET has been about in the past years: The cheats and the cheaters with the idols and the wannabes.

In The Crossfire is a magazine focusing on one topic, based on the reactions it is possible to be released each each month and should explain facts, storys and ideas to collect everything together written at the most important scene page(s) and adding an edition vision to it to bring an attention and discussion up with many more ideas.

image: game3307Is SRP in a better shape now to be able to get behind the dignitas tactics and to win the match? An overall close one will hopefully come up and will show what the half of the Qcon champs are made of to face the other half of their former teams. Dignitas won yesterday's match and now it's the final chance for SRP who went through the lower bracket winning over k1ck and VAE there. Dignitas just lost against the CPC2 winner TLR and will try their best to get into the overall final. TosspoT and QuadV will be live with you next to the ETTV powered by GamesTV.org.

Statements
Italy diO: SRP maybe could take it like last time impact did it at the Lower Bracket to dignitas, but this time the first war was less closer than the previous edition so I will say 4-2 dignitas!
Netherlands h3ll: Hmm I think dignitas wil ltake it again - the way they played yesterday against czar was not that good but against SRP it was like a nice and impressive comeback to show SRP something like 'sure u can get some leet players but winning from us is not that easy' :P

Quote by Team-Dignitas blackComing into this final against a team where i have played every member at some point i wouldnt underestimate any of them, but i believe we should be able to take the win. Regarding our team over the past weeks we have recruited 2 new players and a very suitable 6th, unfortunately we have been unable to practice with plazma due to him just moving house and having no net, however lopezz has filled in very well.
Quote by Reason-Gaming Karl It will be a good test for us to play this game against Dignitas. We have only been a team for a few weeks and we havn't played that much together. But we are getting noticably better as we play more. We were happy to bring in Benn and Trainee because they bring a huge amount of experience and it's showing in our game. This will be the first reasonably serious match we have had to play yet.So we are gona give it our all. Toujane been the map, is probably a good thing.. but we don't know what Dignitas are like on it, so we arent sure whether or not to be happy about it. I think we have a good chance of winning, but the new players Dignitas brought are top notch so it will be a tough game for both sides im sure. We just hope we put on a good show for GIGA.
Shoutouts to Steelseries, OCZ Technology, Multiplay, GladiatorComputers and KingDhesiii.

Being shown on a TV station is not even a major point regarding sponsors and fans, it's even important for keeping a game alive or to promote the upcoming title of it. With having problems finding fitting teams for a major TV event, I'm proud bringing the one and only important CoD2 One-Day cup back up on our very own crossfire.

Regarding the upcoming CDC3 edition 2 where CoD2 is played, you can prove yourself to a big audience and prove your ability to be one of the best European teams. 8 teams are trying their best to take their road to be in a list next to our last winner Czech Republic eSuba.

The final match of this cup will be broadcasted live by GIGA, a free web stream is available as well as the full quality stream right into your TV with Astra Digital (kinda in Germany only).

With the ET-Cup announcing it's very own World Cup for ET, this seasons preperation will show you two major countrys to participate within this seasons modified nations cup as ambitious teams to reach the playoffs and to achive something within the top 5. With Team Germany's so called latest friends-team under the head of qraigu. With the spawn of team Finnland's Newspost delayed by decem, the team will let their hype of the last seasons Nations Cup win up to show their preparations went well so far.

S T A T E M E N T S
Finland Twidi: The time for the game is a bit late for us finns, but we still quite easily managed to gather 6 players for the game as we were very interested about the idea to play this showmatch shown on GIGA2. About the game, we haven't been practicing yet with Team Finland as we just managed to gather the team together, so I guess it's pretty hard to predict anything about the game, but hopefully it'll be entertaining game specially for all the specators!

Germany Butchji: I agree with twidi. (Editor version: I'm too lazy to write one)
