The prize ceremony

With cheques been given, the CC5 getting over the edge and close to it's end. Soon we will see each other online again, flaming and hating, beeing annoying to each other, but for now we stick having some fun.
For ET, the new generation raised sky high winning the tournament, surprisingly, with a very new but great team - Epsilon. Many newcomers proved themself, just like naga who successfully got an award now proving himself on LAN.

The ET tournament is running well so far, with the first game having gone smoothly. The Call of Duty tournament has just started, and should hopefully go just as well. Europe Vicious and Evil have just lost delivery against Netherlands Charism in a surprising turn of events, and we're now going into a decider.


12.38 Getting the crowd running

The CC5 is running well and healthy with only the Call of Duty 4 tournament is delayed caused by game server issues from this morning. The small delay in the ET tournament doesn't stop the surprises. Eventhough impact took the first two wins with straight 4:0 results, VAE struggled against charism on one map and landed the first surpise taking the first map.
Keep tuned in with bets on XLBet for CoD4 and on GamesTV for ET and the crossfire and quadv crew on side!


13.10 Vicious and Evil facing Dignitas
The highest seeded teams in Group B will face each other to find the possible winner coming on top of it to meet up with the 4th ranked of group A in the playoffs. Kleineman promised a close and tight match. Hopefully QuadV will be able to catch up and bring you some CoD4 action soon!

Europe Impact as group winners and runner up France muse take the first tickets to ET's playoffs. Both through with wins over Europe copyright and Europe team randoms. They've yet to compete for the tournament top spot and a BYE through the first round of the latter stages.

ESL EMS config released

image: et-emsThe EMS qualifiers will start within the next two weeks for a few national and international sections. The ESL have released the new 6on6 config for the ESL Major Series powered by Asus now. With currently 79 teams signed up the interest of teams is quite big for a qualifier on a high class prize money event eventhough it's nothing compared to over 200 signups for the ClanBase OpenCup. Two major events for ET are making their way, stay tuned for entertaining weeks on Crossfire, ETTV and ingame.

CDC4: Here come the playoffs! (Day Two)

3:24 The last match for day two is coming up in a moment with Vicious and Evil facing Random in the very last ET match this night. VAE went well in the tournament and just lost against TLR in Upper Bracket before. It's the deciding match for both about keeping in or getting on it's way right now, so don't miss this late and deciding main event.

22:45 ET has been going strong along side CoD4, with the big guns finally starting to show their true quality. Europe np breezed past Belgium 8 Bit-gaming and equally, Belgium EDiT made quick work of our multi-talented mix Europe Random. Both losing teams move down into the loser bracket, so it's not over yet! As we progress through the early hours of the morning, our last 8 games should be over, leaving some mouth watering prospects on our hands.

That's right ladies and gentleman here on crossfire, the CDC is coming up within not even 24 hours. The first matches will come up from tomorrow morning. With 30 packard bell powered pc's just arravied 1 hour ago most of the crew on side are busy setting them up with a proper installation to run the biggest and hopefully best CDC LAN event ever. Teams such as Poland Fear Factory.X-Fi and United Kingdom The Last Resort are bootcamping since 15.00 CET today and prepare themself in Call of Duty and ET:Quake Wars. There should also be Italy n1ce.it coming up soon praccing for ET.

ET's Sunday Night Cup

The cup will start at 18.00 CET this Sunday evening with 16 participants and be a simple knockout bracket (single elimination). Every match will be played in Best-Of-3 while the first map is forced and the second and third maps are loser's choice. It's time to prepare the upcoming ESL Major Series with 1.000 € prize money for ET to offer an advantage in the seedings with this second international cup.
This is the last cup with the chance to earn one Top 4 seed for your team in the international qualifier for the ESL Major Series.

ESL EMS qualifier stage ready

Coming up next for the competive world of the latest Call of Duty release is the ESL Major Series Season 2 with a 1500 € prizepool to statisfy the participants and allow every possible clan a chance to participate. The doors are widly open to sign up and participate in the national qualifier for 16 nations.

To decide the 24 teams for Season 2 the ESL has expanded the qualifying system equal to the resemble of the ESL Extreme Masters system to have two knockout rounds in addition to direct qualifiers for each nation and the international qualifier spot.

As announced earlier today in another newspost on the official website, the latest and not that long awaited patch for ETQW is available to download! Over 400 MB of brand new and special features requested by the community and implemented by SplashDamage over the past months are now public to make your very own ETQW life much easier and requieres less brain especially with the brand new training system! Anyway, the waiting time is past and the reason why ETQW is realy awesome comes with the support of SplashDamage. In addition to the latest patch release, SplashDamage will release a new demo version to get more players interested in competing with their skill in 1.4.

The final day has arrived and tonight we will finish the list with the participants of the upcoming Crossfire Devotii challenge 4 with the 6 remaining matches coming up tonight from 20.00 CET kicking off, it's Europe Dark&Beyond facing Benelux Friends in Force with dnb as clear favorites. Right afterwards a tight match according to the best gamestv.org might came up with the UK mates United Kingdom UnKind facing the germans Germany a.ToOn without a single favorite. At the same time Netherlands Team Ephix will try to save their lan spot beating Belgium gameDivision and the Open Cup winner Europe Tag with a brand new mix will try to beat Europe visualise. Benelux Kojak will face the second Czech team Czech Republic Magic Balloons. Last but not least we have the eastern europe clash with Czech Republic Necroraisers facing Poland Authentic to finalize the night with the last major and hopefully very close fight.
