Polar goes to theatre, junk52 theatre.

image: j52When Enemy Territory was still young and fresh, there was a strong German Enemy Territory team competing for the top under the Germany junk52 name. Years later, today actually, one of the most promising ET teams will play under the legendary Junk52 name once more. Polar eSports, with their ET team formerly known as team pi, and their FEAR team formerly known as Ta1nted philosophy will merge with the reborn Europe Junk52 organisation, securing a strong position in the Enemy Territory scene once more.

The Enemy Territory team have played particulary strong this season, moving to the winner bracket finals without dropping one map. They are guaranteed of a top 3 position but will ofcourse play at maximum performance to take down their opponents Europe The Last Resort in the winner bracket final, just like they did in the group stage.

Auxilia Returns and announces new Mainsponsor

After the Crossfire Prize Fight Challenge II the name United Kingdom AuxiliA should be known to everybody. The international ET Squad was sent to the LAN event and gained a lot of sympathies there, failed unlucky game wise though. After also dropping out of the ClanBase Eurocup XV they decided to call it a day.

Today AuxiliA is going to announce its second Enemy Territory squad, but this time it’s a German one. Nobody else than the old Wolfenstein & Enemy Territory clan “HighBot” is going to establish the basis for the new team.

United Kingdom Ben “Munchies” J. Russia Daniel “humM3L” M. & Germany Gero "geruMBa“ K. brought back life to this gaming project.
With the perfect support from AuxiliA & the new sponsor deal , the team is willing to attend all big upcoming LAN events. Like the C-MaxX Enlarged 2007 in Germany and the Crossfire Prizefight Challenge III.

Another day of EuroCup matches

image: PlayOffs

Tonight two Enemy Territory powerhouses will face each other, Europe Polar eSports and Finland Insignia Cadre in the second round of the EuroCup's winner bracket, in the first round we also see two strong teams facing each other, Germany zeroPoint! versus Europe The Last Resort.

Polar have had a great season so far, entering the playoff stage without a single loss, and taking down the CPC2 winners The Last Resort in the EuroCup group stage. Their first round versus Poland Fear Factory was canceled because four of the FF players werent available to play at that time, giving Polar a free ticket to the second round of the winners bracket. Here they will face another very succesfull team, Insignia Cadre. Undefeated in this EC until now, and taking down big names such as Europe Team Dignitas and Europe vicious and evil in their way to the second round of the winners bracket.

Eurocup CoD2 Play offs

image: eurocup
Today some really interesting matches are planned to be played in the Call of Duty 2 S&D EuroCup. One of them (H2k vs nEophyte) will also be broadcasted by QuadV so everyone can tune into the match tonight..

The first matches will be played at 20:00 and will feature...

20:00 Czech Republic nEcro [1:0] Finland stheno eSports - stheno forfeited the match

Currently ranked 5th and 6th in their groups both sides clearly have something to play for if they want to reach the playoffs. With a victory versus United Kingdom Reason Gaming it looks like nEcro has the advantage, but the young Finnish players of stheno will do everything to defend themselves!

20:00 United Kingdom Team Dignitas 13:01] Germany Replika (old evoplay)

This is a clash between a German top team and a Brittish top team, a win against Dignitas would be great for the future of the germans if they want to continue on independantly or want to impress a new multigaming clan. Team Dignitas looks fearless however, with just a loss versus eSuba it doesnt quite look that they will lose this match.

QuoteHow well is spectating, for TV/broadcasting coverage supported in ETQW? Does ETQW have something similar to Half-Life TV, that can allow a massive amount of spectators? Is there any support for match-recordings, so teams can analyze their performances in tournaments, and others can replay them?
We’ve been working with Christopher Lays ('zinx') on integrating the TV code. This features an unlimited number of broadcast relays and broadcast to a lot of spectating clients (providing there are enough relays to support the load).
The demo-recording functionality in ETQW is pretty advanced, allowing both client-side and server side recording, so that a match can be replayed from any perspective. This feature may be unsupported at release (depending on other gameplay priorities), but it’s our goal that it’ll be superior in functionality to that of competing games once complete.

Team Dignitas signs Intel

image: about_logo
Quote by TosspoTIn tier 2 you have organisations like Dignitas, Serious Gaming, Check6, digitalMind, H2k who operate usually just under the radar of Intel and AMD’s marketing budget.

Has Team Dignitas moved to the top tier today?

A few hours ago the well known multigaming organisation Europe Team Dignitas, known by many of you for their Enemy Territory team, has announced Intel to be their new head sponsor. Until now just a few organisations in the European Union have had the honor of partnering up with a large organisation like Intel is.
