For years now the mixteam lead by FroZzeN, known as Stronger than Hate has been the leading team in the ClanBase 6on6 ladder. No-more! Finaly after such a long period of time a team has stepped up able to throw the kings from their thrown..

The team which was able to overthrow the ruling team of Europeans best was nothing less than the experienced and skilled Insignia Cadre side. Having joined the Insignia Cadre organisation just a week ago the former Negative Image proved they were not to be messed with, and have obtained their first achievement. a glorious achievement if I may say. Something many clans have tried before, has finaly been done.

Tonight dutch powerhouses Serious Gaming will face with the strong French side of emuLate. The teams are not only playing for prizes sponsored by Qpad, Plantronics, X3M Servers and Noctua but also for the honor for winning one of the largest online cups in the Call of Duty 2 scene.

The last clash between the two Call of Duty 2 topclans was just a week ago, emuLate surprised us all by throwing the Dutch EuroCup silver medalists into the loserbracket were they overcame the Brittish powerhouses of Team Dignitas.

Will Serious Gaming be able to overcome emuLate this time, or will the French outplay the Dutchies? We will find out tonight at 21:30!

After running for a week the CODQCUP has reached its final stages. 64 teams would battle out for the prizes made available by Qpad, Plantronics, X3Mservers and Noctua.

The cup features a groupstage and also a playoff stage with a winner and loser bracket. In the winner bracket the french team emuLate surprised us all by cutting trough top teams such as dignitas and Serious Gaming (old ixus / digitalMind) (EuroCup Gold and Silver medalists). They have taken the lead in the winner bracket and will meet with Serious Gaming yet again in the CODQCUP finals.

The fearless team of Serious Gaming look eager to proof they are not to be messed with in their rematch versus emuLate, who they lost against in the winner bracket. Now after defeating defeating Team Dignitas yesterday 13 to 8 Serious will get a chance to restore their image.

Rules are there to be broken and changes are there to be made. If we want Enemy Territory to become a major game, we will need to make changes, and it is us who need to take action. If we want to see Enemy Territory represented at the largest events troughout the world, we will need to show the world we are worth it!

The first step in bringing competive Enemy Territory to a higher level is to get it played! There are various events troughout Europe were our game could be featured, but it isn't. I think this is because we show no interest to the outside world that we want to get it there.

From 20 April until 22 April here in The Netherlands, a large LAN named The Party V will take place. Officially this LAN will not feature an ET competition, but I would like to see this changed. That's why I contacted their organisation and asked them about a possible Enemy Territory competition, and they said Yes, but there will only be prizes only if at least 10 clans / teams will attend. 10 clans / teams is all we need to get Enemy Territory featured at one of the largest BYOC LANs in the Benelux. Would you discard the chance to meet your online friends in real life and finaly play versus your opponents without lag or suspicion? Then playing on a LAN is suitable for you!

What a night, what a day for the Call of Duty 2 community. digitalMind dropping their very succesfull Call of Duty 2 team because of lineup changes? Wow.

For the outsiders of the Call of Duty 2 community, digitalMind has been one of the best Call of Duty 2 teams up till now. The team has various awards from both LANs and online events on their name. Their latest achievements were ending second in the last ClanBase EuroCup, and first at the SHG Open CoD2 competition.

With immediate effect DigitalMind's Call of Duty team will no longer play under the wings of our organisation. We have decided to take this action primarily because of the neverending roster changes. After shgOpen 2007, these youngsters were ambitious to become one of the best Call of Duty clans, they trained hard but once again encountered problems with their roster. Nick Schurink (17), known in-game as solz, is unable to play any more due to personal problems and therefore they had to search for a suitable replacement.

As we felt that changes occurred too often, that means looking back over the last half of 2006 and now the case of Schurink, we decided to release them in order to fully concentrate on where it all started for us, Counter-Strike. We deeply regret having to part ways with these guys, because they're one of a kind, true champions but the removal was necessary. Until further notice, DigitalMind will stay a Counter-Strike clan only.

The Call of Duty 2 team is still playing, however they are now looking for a new organisation. Their temporary name is team ixus.

The Multigaming Clan AuxiliA is proud to introduce its new Enemy Territory lineup which will be representing them at the CPC2 in April this year, as well as future online events. The squad has moved over from dtekt to Auxilia in a surprise move. The lineup is as follows:

After Negative Image took the win over Polar eSports many people believed a new Finnish powerhouse had seen the day. Tonight however, dtekt.eSports, fresh in their AuxliA diapers caused a great upset by winning this match after a three map clash between both sides.

While explosionC4 were definately the underdogs in this match they have been able to put pressure on the belgian side of cZar Gaming at the first map already. The belgian team managed to equal the score by winning the second map however, so all eyes were aimed at the decider. Altrough cZar was able to put up a good defence they still couldn't stop the eC4 soldiers from defeating them, leading the match to a 4-2 victory for explosionC4.

September, just a few months before a new year with a new EuroCup and various other events, seems like the perfect month for a skilled team to emerge. Lately we have seen clans like Keaturen, sFx LAN and pingwins being founded and preparing themselves for upcomming events. Enemy Territory has much to offer, both in concern of teams and competition!

Today a new team is ready to present itself to the public, a team with very much potential to become one of the top teams of Enemy Territory, they will surely go for it! A surprizing lineup with players from top clans, with more as half currently being accused of cheating, this team might be the biggest surprise of 2007.

Whether you think these players hack or not, they are here now so better start to prepare!
