Last night we had the last final game to be played in the Premier Group where riZe team, under the command of leaving Enemy Territory-teamcaptain pumu, managed to beat the Polewka team, under management of buzka, with 2-0 over 2 maps: braundorf_b4 and sw_goldrush_te.
So congrats are in order for the riZe team, good games and very well played !

Since the completion of the first Crossfire PrizeFight Challenge we have been mobbed by requests for information on the next event. We'd like to thank everyone for their interest and their support, its this that is driving us to build on the success of this past weekend.

So, with that in mind we're proud to announce that planning work has begun on the second installment of the CPC and as we look into things further and venues, there is a realisation that gaming centers around the world are geared to 5on5 when they are built. When Quakecon was announced as 5on5, we went with 6on6 because we were not willing to go with an untested gametype. However, the success of Quakecon this year playing 5on5 has made going with 5on5 a viable option. We will openly state now, that the next CPC has a big chance of being played 5on5 for ET due to the logistical problems 6on6 presents, and the successful demonstration by Quakecon that 5on5 can work.

Other than that, we will include Call of Duty once again, and we are exploring a small RTCW tournament, however that may be subject to the same roster sizes that ET gets.
We learnt alot this weekend, and we will be building on that for the future as Crossfire continues to evolve!

After an exciting Crossfire LAN party full with ups and downs, one would forget that some leagues ( Gamersnation & Warleagues ) are going to their end with some great matches ( finals ) ahead.
I'm more than happy to finally announce the PREMIER Final for Warleagues Season 6 where riZe Gaming LTD will take on Polewka !

The 14th ET-Cup has jsut been ended 2 days ago and we're already able to announce the 15th edition! The 15th ET-Cup will be a 2-Days cup - 6on6, to be played tonight and tomorrow. It's kind of a short notice, but we'll try to get 16 teams in. As last Sunday, when we couldn't reach the 32 clans re aimed for, we gave some teams a default win - In case we can't get 16 teams, we'll do it again.

Because we want as much signups as possible to come before tonight 20CET, we'll have only standard maps from last season(s).

With the press release a few days ago, I have had an influx of interest in the European community, and wanted to post some updates and info on here to keep you in the loop.

First off, Battle For Berlin is in search of community-oriented admins to help oversee EU matches, help with getting the community invovled, and keeping up with the lingo. Every region has different ways of expressing things, and having representatives from that region on the admin board is important; as unintentional insults are bound to happen (Hopefully I do not insult anyone with my posts, and if I do please correct my errors :P). If you are interested in being part of Battle For Berlin EU Administration, please email me with your age, name, region, RtCW experience, and administration experience.

Tonight a nice match awaits thanks to the ESL IPS qualifiers. In this, the so called "Last chance", 8 teams have been battling for 2 spots in the International Premiership Season 1, which holds a jackpot top prize of 12,500 euros.

This is round 3 of last chance, meaning that only 4 teams are left. Having played the other match in this bracket, a game in which violence is bad beat sYnod5, only one spot remains available, and who takes it will be decided tonight.

Battle For Berlin is a fully prized and sponsored North American RtCW tournament for the community by the community. The tournament will be starting in early November, but team registration is open now. The tournament format will be a double elimination 3v3. There will be 32 teams of 3-5, 3 starters and 2 backups.

With an array of sponsors, including NewBreed Hosting, CafePress, Radio iTG, Filanthropy, and Chaos Productions all putting their resources towards this great event. We have a dedicated team of admins, graphic designers, video editers, and shoutcasters working to bring this together.

A day after the ET-Cup and Crossfire Lan ended, the TeK-Cup is starting next sunday. The pairings were drawn lots for and we will get to see some exciting matches like...
