I'am back working for YCN-Hosting and have decided to host a 50 slot Teamspeak 3 server for the community to use freely, which can be increased dependent on activity.
The server will be free for anybody to use and you can request a private channel to be created for you. You can do this by joining #YCN-TS3 and querying one of the admins.

I am also looking for a few responable administrators to keep an eye out and keep everything running smoothly.

The time has come for the main groups to be drawn for the SAGE Enemy Territory tournament! After a lot of preseeding and seeding games, teams have been neatly put into poules for the upcoming event, which is already fast becoming one the most competitive LAN events Enemy Territory has ever seen with at least 5 or 6 teams feeling like they have a very good chance of winning the event.

Since the game release that K1ck eSports Club have been paying attention to Brink and the surrounding environment. The Brink community is building up fast and we have written some stuff about the game that looked quite amazing from the start. Today we are announcing our very own k1ck.brink team, arriving from Poland after securing a place at the ESL Brink Championship with a victory at the Polish qualifier.

Hey -Guys, I am proud to introduce you to the wnbproLAN lineup for the upcoming SAGE LAN. After weeks of looking for the last player on the team, we have finally found one. pds will take the place and trying to make us performing well.

After some weeks of internal issues and recruitment, epic finally has its full line up for the SAGE event organized by super Seanza.

I think that this line-up has a lot of potential with plAyer handling the newbstick and rAffou showing off everytime he gets the chance to.

Some people will wonder why pds is no longer playing with us... The answer is quite surprising... He didn't dodge at all. We just kicked him out because of internal issues related to his activity and involvement and wish him the best for his future.

We are really looking forward to win play that "Amazing Gaming Event" and meet our e-buddies.

Brinks player numbers are depreciating faster than assets on a Greek balance sheet, however for those that did play the game players are being warned to change their passwords as Bethesda and Brink specifically has been hacked wide open.

Visitors to the popular Torrent site the Pirate Bay website can download the entire game source code and database passwords for the Brink site. Whilst user data has not been uploaded the hacking group behind this have claimed to have access to them.

According to Steam Brink currently has just 689 players online right now, ranking it below games many years older than it.

A poll was created for the community to cast their votes choosing between one of the two games or selecting both. The victorious game was to be Quake Live after receiving more than twice as many votes as its “poll opponent”, StarCraft II. The tournament will strictly be open only to the players who were attending the LAN for one of the other 2 tournaments already or is a member of their respective community site. Each player will pay an entrance fee and, dependant on the number of signups, this will determine the prize pot for the tournament.

Since this is set to be a community event, I’ve opted for the chance to run an ET vs. COD rivalry which will eventually see the best Quake Live-playing ET community member go against the best Call of Duty 4-playing community member. So how am I going to do this? Simple… there will be 2 separate Quake Live tournaments at the event. Players will play through a bracket which will be exclusively for their community. Eventually, when we have a winner of each bracket, those 2 players will then go head-to-head. The victorious player will win the tournament for their community, thus becoming the Quake Live community champion of SAGE!

Just a quick update from us on PHX, to let you all know it is still happening! The main reason we have not been so spammy with news is with the SAGE event less than 3 weeks away we want to hog as little limelight as possible from that event - this post is merely to get an idea of what already established teams are interested in attending and let people know our aims in terms of signup opening and closing etc.

As you may have seen in our original news post, owzo will be on hand to shoutcast at the event itself and Msh100 will also hopefully be there to ensure ETTV support.

As you can see from the dates above, the signups will be open for one month. This is because if Enemy Territory does not get the full 12 signups we will open the competition to a second game (most likely a 1v1 game) which will probably have no restrictions on who can play, more information on this (if it is to happen) at a later date.

A Forum post has been made, and this is where you can find up to date information on the event as well as a list of teams interested etc. This will be more regularly updated once the SAGE LAN event is completed.
