Enemy Territory turns 8

image: et_logoOur beloved Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory turns 8 today. A long road lies behind this oldtimer of the FPS genre.

Back then it was released unfinished and anything but polished. Ever since we saw many great modifications, maps, scripts, movies, matches, competitions ... simply anything you can imagine.

Even after such a long time we still have events to look forward to such as the SAGE LAN or the PHX LAN. A great Nationscup has recently finished and the ESL and Clanbase are still rolling.

Have Fun everyone and lets have another great year!

SAGE: ET Seeding tournament (groups)

image: sage_smallI'm happy to announce that I will be running an online seeding tournament in order to determine seeds for the LAN itself. These groups have been based on lineup, recent performance and potential. As we're on a fairly tight schedule leading up to the LAN event, I ask for all teams to please cooperate as best they can to make this online seedings tournament run as smoothly as possible. Thanks in advance!

G2P gets Most Valuable

image: g2plogo

The team that was amongst the TOP3 a few months back, got restored and found a new home.
It has been a long and bumpy road, but in the end everything was wrapped up in a few days.
With Francekarnaj rising from inactivity and 3 highly motivated polish Allstars, Germanyshmoe and Netherlands7ele finally found the missing pieces to finish their Lan lineup.
The Team will finish the EuroCup and has now exactly one month to prepare for the upcoming SAGE-Lan.

SAGE ET tournament info!

It's the first major event of the year for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and, so far, the largest ET LAN announced for 2011. Formerly going by the name of "TLR's eSports Challenge", I can now confirm some more information about the LAN event, including some specifics about the ET tournament...

BC: Dignitas and Team ET in Group stage

European Qualifier

The first teams to qualify successfully for the group stages of the ESL BRINK Championship. The list of teams includes big names for the Enemy Territory community like Team Dignitas and the Dutchies from Team ET including saKen, siL, NoHead, Jo0f, L4mpje, SQuid and YJZZ. In the lower bracket it's H2K and Epsilon who are in the best position to reach the third and last remaining slot for the group stage on Sunday.

A heads up on BRINK websites

image: brink_logo
While the ESL is running the ESL Championship qualifier and many public whores expecting to see a global ranking site released it is time to sum up the international BRINK scene with some important community projects worth to give them a try.

The Splash Damage Forums are base and starting point for most of the players while the ESL forums are used for competitive talks. As both are somehow not the best base for the competitive and public scene it might be a good heads up on what BRINK offers the bandwidth of gamers, may it be beginner or pro.

Team Dignitas welcome back JaKaZc

image: profile_jakazcWe would like to welcome back a very good friend of the team as Jaka 'JaKaZc' Kejzar is rejoining our Enemy Territory squad. Jaka has already represented the Team Dignitas brand several times, the last time being at Antwerp Esports Festival in the summer of 2010.

The team parted ways with Oula 'olBaa' Räsänen and it was an easy choice for them to get Jaka back in the team, making almost the same lineup that won AEF for us. Next up for the team will be at SAGE in Enschede, on July 1st. We would like to welcome back Jaka!

Team Dignitas.ET:

Estonia Hendrik-William 'Anderson' Kinks
Slovenia Jaka 'JaKaZc' Kejzar
Germany Sebastian 'drago' Ohrmann
Estonia Vaiko 'Night' Vainola
Finland Taneli 'sQUALL' Härkönen

NORDIC-eSport with crucial changes

image: logo300x300

After a couple of weeks, it appeared that having 3 Belgians in the lineup was not enough for the latest additions of Denmark NORDIC-eSport. Belgium Sup3r and Belgium uNDEAd foisted their plan of playing with team-be mates in life, leaving their former team with a huge gap. Many were wondering what two faces will Denmark NORDIC-eSport welcome. It was mostly rumoured that Europe mvp members will boost the lineup. After only a couple of days the team has found a decent replacements for underhand members. Hats off to the refreshed Denmark NORDIC-eSport lineup:
