[EC] X-Mas Special › Interview with the Silver!

Hello vila, as promised I was going to give your team an interview after the match aswell. Obviously you wanted to win this match, but you failed trying so, was it hard to bare with the loss at the evening itself? And how does it feel now?

At the moment itself it wasn't really hard to bare. For me that was , i had my birthday the next day so i was kinda looking forward to that. I believe my exact words on ventrilo were : "Who cares , it doens't mather anyway" As i look back on it now, I feel things could've been better , i saw some replays. Saw drago's panzershot. It's really a 1 second decision that cost us the gold. Since the panzer hit me it was kinda my fault as well. But you can't always do the right thing i guess. Now im just looking forward to future events.


You came very close to the final victory, though not much people wanted you to gain it, why do you think they envy you?

To be honoust i couldn't care less about some random people not wanting us to win it. We are kinda 'unpopular' in the community mostly because of our flamewars vs some people. But most of that guys haven't even played EC . And certainly never reached a final. I put myself above them and so does the rest of our team i assume. We are not like any other team around We are 8 friends who play together. Used to be on ventrilo 24/7 during the day , to play quake , poker , ET , cod just everything Even if we had nothing to do That's why we understand eachother perfectly And we don't care about some people's opinions



It was mPg who came out on top, did they earn their victory?

Hm , a difficult question. I'm sure if we would've won it nobody would've complained about us winning since we played eachother 3 times and the score was always 4-2 I guess they were better at the deciding moments.


Do you think the two times the server resetted made you lose bremen? Do you blaim the admins for the slow responding?

We constantly started bad on bremen and each time it resetted we had a very good laugh. The one time the server stayed online we immediatly grabbed the flag. We couldn't find an answer on their CP / Doc defense. It was certainly not to blame on the server. I don't blame the admins for the slow responding. I had a good laugh =)


What is your point of view on all the flaming that was spread out by snoop? Do you think he was overreacting, or was it just stress which made him like this?

We all think he's a fool who's way to tiny to talk like that. He was just being his foolish self. It was kinda silly what he was trying to pull off so we didn't really pay attention to it. Admins did a good job with the time.

You won supply, though your first defense stage(s) weren’t running very smooth? Were you happy to have a player like mAus in your line-up which did much cleaning work (upstairs)?

As everyone knows mAus is a fantastic player. If you have him in your team you are 50 % better. No doubt. He did a really good job. We have played with him in the past (even his first ET steps) . It wasn't really difficult to adjust to his playing style since everyone is used to him. Great guy , great player.

Do you also think mAus made a capital mistake with knifing his own teammate?

Your ‘world’ must have felt in parts when you saw drago make that magnificant panzerkill? Lotto or skill?

When i was running towards the transmitter i saw the time in the right of my screen. It was something like 2 minutes and i thought , we can't fail this anymore. Unfortunately we did. Great job by drago , both skill + lotto
